    Short!

by LM2012 on 2013-02-19Virgin Mobile Mod Club - Toronto

The set was incredibly short.... They played at most 6 songs. Last time I had gone to the concert it lasted over 2 hours and had an encore. This time the concert was only an hour and a half and no encore at all.... which is quite disappointing considering that this was the concert to make up for the one they cancelled last year in September. The set was good and I like Emilie but, I have to say I'm a little disappointed.

    Emilie Autumn Feb 22nd 2012

by Amberlou on 2012-02-26The Opera House - Toronto

This show was, like I had hoped, nothing but flawless. Every Emilie Autumn Concert I've ever been to has been a memorable time in my life. It's a concert like none other and for not only that reason, but many others, a show not to be missed.

This was a great show! I've never heard Emily Autumn before, but this was very, very worth it. Great show, amazing songs, can't wait to go again (hopefully!) next year.

    Autumnlicious

by MarzToronto on 2012-02-24The Opera House - Toronto

Steampunk Opera at it's BEST! I was enthralled with her four-some burlesque-vaudeville entertainment. From the opening using shadow dance, to the roguish antics of sweet Captain Maggots, to The Blessed Contessa floating through the air on silk rope, to Lady Veronica's show-stopping feather dance, every moment was enthralling. My top hat is off to you ladies.

    Soooooooo Damn GOOD

by boon on 2012-02-24The Opera House - Toronto

Once again Toronto was treated to a visit from the mistress Emilie Autumn and her Bloody Crumpets (Contessa, Veronica, Capt. Maggot). This being my third time seeing them, i was hoping for something new from the 1st 2 shows which were so close together it was almost the same thing except for an addition of Capt. Maggot the 2nd time. I was not let down the stage show has more choreography, more insanity, even loved the asylum gates as the stage set. Set list chosen was good, the stage show itself was a lot different and seemed more rehearsed and not as random as the last tour. There were lots of intermission pieces for crowd participation, whether it was the rat game, or Contessa getting the crowd to scream Fingers and Toes, or Veronica's feather dance etc. The new songs showcased from forthcoming album "Fight like a girl" were all very good. especially "Take the pill" where Contessa did her curtain trapeze act i guess you could call it, and "Girls Girls Girls" where it was very USO/Vegas showgirl type themed. Only problems was there were some songs i would have hoped to see played live again, and 1 i still have not seen live unfortunatly. There were still moments of her and veronica actually playing instruments during "Gaslight", and "Thank God I'm Pretty", unfortunatly no violin solo though. And there was no flaming hoola hooping from capt maggot @ this concert, but she has been doing it on this tour during a newer song. Overall though definatly no big complaints. They certainly delivered the goods again and im sure made all the fans ravenous for the new album, and will continue to do so all over the country/world.
