The bands were all incredible and still at the top of their game after 20 years.. But the sound guy was a moron and the show sounded like garbage.. I was directly behind his board so I could see how everything was clipping and peaking the entire show. Thanks for making me deaf and ruining hundreds of others hearing.
I haven't seen these bands since I was at least 18 years old. I was expecting the almost sold out show!.. They are no less then perfect still.. AWESOME!!!!
darlings were great - strung out not so much and Face To Face was epic. The real low point was the Garrick running out of beer - oh well, the music was great.

we showed a little late for the show, but caught the entire darlings set, which was much better than i expected and found myself enjoying them throughly as an opener. next up was strung out: this would be coming up to my 7th or 8th time seeing strung out live and it didn't disappoint. Jason Cruz came out with more energy than I may have ever seen him give before, all of them giving a very professional but great performance, I admit i essentially came just for Strung Out. I saw Face To Face in Regina shortly after they released the cd how to ruin everything. This tour was much more of a welcome back tour for them, so they covered a bit of everything from their catalog. I wish someone had recorded their performance, it would have made a great new live cd to replace the old one. They sounded great. The venue was filled, people were rocking out what more can you ask? It shows that age means nothing in the biz
Strung out was amazing, super fun and fast and face to face was in your face with something great from every turning point in the careers. Disappointed for a close was epic. no sure if they played an encore, i sprained my ankle on the skytrain before the show and went anyways, had to leave right after as a instantly bruised ankle and the mosh pit, oh and beer.... dont mix that well.
Still one of the best live bands I've ever seen (over 60 concerts ranging from fesitvals to bar shows). Trevor, Scott and whomever was drumming for them had an absolute blast entertaining us. You could feel the build-up while the opening acts were up there and FTF did not let us down. They rocked and I hope they remember us wheu they tour there next album (which I can't wait for at all). Even at 31, I can honestly say they are one band I'll never stop listening to and there have been many that just don't care for anymore (especially in the Punk genre).
Face To Face did not dissapoint. They had loads of energy as always! We all roared when they announced that they were only going to do old songs. It was obvious that loads of heart and love went into their performance, and that they love their fans...
Face to Face was as amazing as they always been!! A kick ass Show like back in the days when they started.. First time at the Central; nice set-up!, though the floor is way too slippery at the front.. Overall, It's the Band that makes the show and that was worth every damn penny!!!!! In your face!!
One of my faviouritist bands ever...never dissapoints and certainly didn't this time. LOVE THEM!
Awesome venue, great gig. Face to Face played all their best songs. Only thing missing was some better opening bands, but who cares. Face to Face rules!!!
Show was great, real and I enjoyed the talent of the band it wasn't just listening to another CD they played things a bit faster/slower and added interludes. Worth every penny. Flames central although tacky is a great venue for music no echos just clear great sound. Much better venue then mac hall at the UofC.
Great venue! Awesome sound system! Great view from anywhere in the building. Face to Face brought it! Played all their old songs. Sounded great, as always!
These guys were incredible. Played a ton of old tracks. I sang pretty much every song! Sound was amazing, and the venue is one of the best in Calgary. Really hope they come back through!
Fantastic! Lots of energy, interaction with the crowd, and you could see that they were having a good time playing for Calgary!
This is one of the best concerts I have been to in a long time. I have seen Face to Face probably about 5 times in my day and the just get better everytime. They are amazing live! Love the venue also
