  • Incredible!

by Jay on 2024-10-12History - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The show was incredible, they sounded amazing, you never would have thought the singer was battling throat cancer just a year prior. His voice was top notch and the band was on point all night. Great setlist and quite a nice merch selection too! Would see them again without question!.

The venue and the opening band, BellRays were stellar. Mike Ness and the boys gave us an amazing show. I’m so glad i made the 5 hour drive for this performance.

  • I enjoy the show

Not much to say... we enjoy the show; maybe something I would recommend is when people get drunk a bit more attention on that situations... I understand that could be part of the event, however when people get really drunk could be a bit uncomfortable for others.

  • Freaking amazing!

Great night, great band. Waited over a year for this and was not disappointed.

  • Fun times!

Had a great time at the Social Distortion show. Nice to see the energy on the Main Floor! And the new outdoor area at The Burt is a wonderful space! For anyone with disabilities like myself don’t park in the little lot behind the building anymore for easy access. You have to go all of the way around the block to get in!!! Not great for us 😞

  • Awesome and so Fun !

Social distortion rolls into Vancouver after a year wait and blows the roof off. Mike ness is one the best frontmen around, his energy and present on stage is amazing. Can’t wait to see them back here soon.

  • Social D Commodore

by Frontrowfan on 2024-09-22Commodore Ballroom - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

This was one of the best Social Distortion shows I’ve seen in a long time. I’ve seen them countless times over the past 20-25 years and in multiple cities. The Commodore is a perfectly sized venue for them and allows you to get up front and close to the action. Mike Ness did not disappoint! So glad he made time to come to Vancouver after all he’s been through lately. Highly recommend seeing them if they happen to come back to Vancouver!

  • Self Destruction's Got Me Again. Social D at the Commodore.

This band means more to me than I could ever explain, and seeing them again after so many years did me a world of good. They played all the favourites I wanted to hear, especially "I Was Wrong", which changed my whole life when it first came out (and again, years later. But that's a story for another day). Very happy to see that Mike Ness has recovered from cancer, too. Also, I’d almost forgotten how friendly and social the audience can be at a punk show. Happy people just being normal and talking to one another - it’s almost like I wasn’t even in Vancouver.
