This was an awesome Broadway in Canada experience. The play itself is a classic, the acting was superb, and the singing was out of this world. In every way, this was a fantastic experience, and I am so glad I had the chance to see it. I would highly recommend it.
The tempo and energy were an experience of true sharing. The performers gave from the heart and it showed, bringing this classic alive to the audience.
This was so well done and so true to the original we were very impressed. We totally enjoyed ourselves!
Tickets were a Christmas gift. Could not have asked for a better gift. Loved the music and the story. Been awhile since I saw it last. Appreciated the actors dedicating their performances to people of Ukraine. Thanks Lisa, Hector and girls.
The show was great! it was fun. There were a few songs we did not get to sing along with, however the laughter made up for it and we did get to sing along with a few favs in the play. My mother in law just did not have a great time with the seats as you need to be like 80lbs to fit in them properly. She did however make the best of it as we had aisle seats and she was able to stick her one leg out and that made it a little more bearable. I would see this show again should it come back to the Jubilee. Loved it!
We enjoyed Fiddler on the Roof but found the Jubilee not the best venue to hold the event. Anyone in the balcony is so far back you cannot identify the players until their name is used. Also parking in the Parkade was a total nightmare. We waited a good 30 minutes in an exhaust filled Parkade to exit. This venue does not compare to the Citadel or Windspear and I will never again buy tickets for anything at the Jubilee.
This was one of the best shows I've ever seen. Great actors, great production, wonderful music. It was really a fantastic show.
Expertly cast - the actors/actresses were endearing and brought the characters to life, and their voices were absolute perfection! We went as a family and from ages 6 to 67, everyone loved it! Wish this cast had an album on iTunes as we would prefer them over anything available. Kudos to the cast and production team and Thank You!!!!
I was lucky enough to see Fiddler on the Roof twice, for the Friday evening and Saturday matinee while they were touring in Edmonton. Both viewings were absolutely incredible. The music, dancing, singing, sets. Every part of what was brought on stage only added to such a meaningful experience. Fiddler on the Roof is my favorite musical, and I cried tears of joy during Tradition just to be able to watch Tevye and his family and the people of Anatevka. Live theatre is one of the last true magics you can experience both as an adult and as a child, and Fiddler on the Roof was that embodiment.
This show is spectacular The talent, The singing, the choreographed dancing, the story line. I cant stop singing "If I were a rich man, yubba dibby dibby dibby dibby dibby dibby dum . . .
I really enjoyed Fiddler on the Roif. The music, dancing, and acting was excellent. A meaningful story, glad it is getting told.
Although sometimes hard to make out what characters were saying, the performers brought so much life and entertainment to the stage, it was captivating from start to finish. And you could tell the audience was engaged because there were some moments where you could hear a pin drop. Fantastic job!
This was an amazing and so professional. I took my 12 year old grand daughter and she loved it too. The lighting and sound were almost as great as the dancing.
Such a good production, it was somply enjoyable!! Highly recommend!
The story was so compelling, the music (singing etc) was beautiful, the dancing was fabulous .. wow ! A Must See!

A fantastic performance by a very talented cast. From the music through to the dancing - all was top rate. One of the best Broadway on Canada, we have enjoyed. One comment, we had floor seats near the back and the ushers brought in at least 20 latecomers that needed assistance finding their seat, which was interruptive for at least 10 minutes - patrons should be more respectful of the start time in fairness to all.
The show was very good, but the sound was distorted at times. the chairs were really uncomfortable. I had to leave at intermission because it hurt my back and cut the circulation off in my legs. I only weigh 150 lbs, other than that it was a good show.
I loved it! Music, dancing, singing and costumes were fabulous! It was funny and very moving. Great production and wonderful talented cast!
