Super awesome football match! Way to go Team Canada Women's Team
Great support and electric atmosphere! It was intoxicating and inclusive for all.
Great occasion with a big crowd supporting the hosts Canada - I can't wait for Women's World Cup 2015
It was great game. My friend and I both had an amazing time cheering for CAN!!
A most enjoyable experience. It was really good to watch such good soccer played by women from around the world. The Canadian women made me proud!
Good action - I loved watching the women play and the crowd was very lively for the Canadian games.
The Germany Canada under 20 women's quarterfinal match at Commonwealth Stadium was a great demonstration of world class talent by the Germans. Nice to be exposed to other sports, besides hockey, that is played at a high level. Hope to see more of this in the future and am excited to see the FIFA 2015 Women's World Cup when it is played here in Edmonton! If you have the opportunity to attend a match in the future, I would highly recommend it. Better value for money than any Edmonton Oiler match you will see.
Woulda been nice if Canada scored on their chances, and that the first German goal was not offside - that would have possibly changed the outcome. Good warmup for the 2015 WWC.
We chose "will call" to pick up our tickets. It was horrible!! There were long lines, and it was not very well organized on how to pick up tickets. As a result, we missed 3/4's of the first half!! I was not impressed. I will not use will call for events at commonwealth stadium ever again!
Great matches! Unfortunate that FIFA or CSA didn't spring for programs.
Everything was awesome! From buying tickets online, printing them off .....getting to and from the stadium with the Park and Ride from Kingsway....and of course amazing game to watch :) we will definitely go again.
Event itself was great, venue needs to improve the parking situation
Professional sports are really expensive - people need to know they can spend less and have a great time. This tournament was really, really good.
Great game. Really good battle between the girls. Canada was just unlucky with goal scoring!
The only unfortunate part is not having designated parking for the game ticket holders. paying $30 and walking 3 miles to the event was a big downer. Due to the EX going on. Not sure I would attend another soccer game while the Ex is on.
It was a well organized and well played tournament; however, parking was a huge issue. People were expected to use public transit, but the ticket holder were not informed. Most visitors were there for the first time. The city had blocked off all the side streets for parking and no alternative was provided. Once inside the venue, it was a great atmosphere and good matches
great to see Korea beat US. I have never seen a fifa soccer game live and the women's under 20 was great...high level of play
The match was interesting albeit wet. It was crazy rainy!
The games were amazing. All the girls did a fantastic job. The soccer was great, The only hiccup was that we were a group of 12 40/50ish ladies (still playing) and the event only sold beer. There were no coolers etc. The event was definitely reflecting the male events and since the majority of spectators were women this should have been addressed. Still a great time.
I bought my tickets in November 2013 before schedule was released, hoping for matches my family and I could enjoy. As it turns out, tickets had 2 matches on it, so I could not separate for friends to use and there were matches starting at 8:00pm too late for my children, so we did not see all 7 Matches. What made it worse was there was only 1 quarter final match included in my 7 matches; I was hoping for a semi-final or final at the national stadium. Also, as the event drew closer there were tickets being given away 2:1 and half price (kind of the same thing…lol) but it was really frustrating that I had planned and had to pay full price and people who did not got a great deal…SUCKS…this will make me think twice about the Women’s World Cup 2015!
