55,000 fans made a very positive atmosphere on BC Place before the game started and during the first half and Canada started with energy, but after 15- 17 minutes, Mexico started dominate game by the team play and by better individual technique of all their players. Visitors were able to go with ball through 2-3 adversaries and the home players were not able go through one, so it was the biggest difference between teams. Mexico had about 7-8 very good score chances but our goalie was excellent and kept us in the game. Mexico is the best team in our soccer region for years, so we are not sad to loose, but we hope that Canada could move on as the second team from our group...

Canada's VANCOUVER is a jewel of a city, a magnificent city in the friendliest country. This week VANCOUVER t was embellished with a fun and exciting soccer match between the national teams of Mexico and Canada, the always colourful and enthusiastic fans of the Mexican team which were thought to be around 15000, many coming from Washington and Oregon states made the occasion even more fun and exotic. The great skill of the Mexican soccer team was a leaguer to watch, the 3-0 win was what could be expected but the Canadian team still came close to score a couple of times. To have the privilege to witness this event in beautiful VANCOUVER was a wonderful and fun experience.

Everything was great except for the very end where couple fans jump over the field security should be more aware of big events like this probably staff not well prepared anyhow everything else was just beautiful thanks all....

So great to see so many soccer fans out. Can't wait for the next match.

Love the vibe of BC place, with a sold out crowd..it was one game to never forget..

Awesome event! More staff needed to aid the movement of people into the venue.

Really well organized check in, safety and clean facilities, but the food concessioners not the best, the drinks (Pepsi) were just water. overall good experience.

Mexican fans were in high spirits, but did not dominate, or interfere with the enjoyment of others there. In fact many were cheering both sides, and their party spirit made the whole event fun. Too bad Canada couldn't have performed better though considering all the hype!!

Even though Mexico won the game 3-0 (as they should have....they played better) the atmosphere at BC Place was electric, Everyone had a great time and the fans on both sides were totally into it. Well paced match and we came close to a few really good goals. Being ranked 87 and only loosing by 3 to Mexico isn't that bad!!!

The result in the Canada-Mexico game may not have been what the home crowd wanted but with 55,000 engaged fans in BC Place it was exciting to be a part of it. There was more energy than the Grey Cup game in 2014 - a lot more. The Mexican fans were great and especially liked their march down Robson.

Very frustrating to see our nation team so lacking in world class player talent. Surely there must be more professional Canadian soccer players out there to select from for our side's team roster. We are almost middle ranked in the world but far, far away from the top international teams in quality of players. It makes me feel angry that we cannot seem to break the pattern of being a poorly ranked soccer country. Thanks for feeling my pain Canada. We shall do better in the future!

Shame they couldn't hit a barn door!! They need some serious shooting practice. Plus some new blood. With attitude of never giving up till the final whistle If it wasn't for their keeper standing on his head in goal. It would have been 6-0 plus.. He was by far the best player on the team. The forwards let him down, big time

Wow, what a game, except for the pathetic amateurish misses by Canada. What a frustrating game to watch, there's a reason why we're #87 in the world. I really thought we were going to show something to the world that day, that we were on a an uphill rise, instead we looked like a joke.

The view was awesome and unforgettable . í took my family and they had a blast.

Must go! The quality of play is high, the games matter and it's a great atmosphere. Get behind our boys.

It was awesome to see so many Mexicans coming to Vancouver to support their team. They made it that much more memorable. My first every FIFA game. VIVA MEXICO!

Canada played about as good as if Mexico had come up to play Hockey! Phatetic is the only word that comes to mind, a true bunch of amateurs!!!
