About

Five Finger Death Punch are a heavy metal band founded in 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The band released their first album, The Way of the Fist, in 2007. Their 2009 follow-up War Is the Answer kicked off eight consecutive Top 10 releases on the Billboard 200, including three back-to-back No. 2 debuts for 2013’s The Wrong Side of Heaven, Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 and 2015’s Got Your Six. Meanwhile, the group earned RIAA platinum certifications for their 2010 cover of Bad Company’s “Bad Company,” a 2018 remix of Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band’s “Blue on Black” featuring Shepherd, Brian May of Queen and country singer Brantley Gilbert and the 2020 single “A Little Bit Off” from the band’s eighth album, F8. Overall, 5FDP have logged 14 No. 1s on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. In 2022, the band released their ninth album AfterLife. Five Finger Death Punch consists of founding member and guitarist Zoltan Bathory, vocalist Ivan Moody, guitarist Andy James, bassist Chris Kael and drummer Charlie Engen.

  • Awesome Show!

by DC on 2024-08-27SaskTel Centre - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5

The Show was amazing definitely glad I got to see Five Finger Death Punch live for the first time. The Funeral Portrait and Slaughter to Prevail did an awesome job opening for FFDP.

  • One hell of a concert

by Keegmyster on 2024-08-27SaskTel Centre - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5

All three bands were amazing, they had the place rockin! Would definitely go again or recommend people to go. FFDP was awesome and hilarious. Slaughter to prevail was out right sick. The funeral portrait was a pretty cool band.

  • A good show but could be better

by LJ on 2024-08-27SaskTel Centre - SaskatoonRating: 3 out of 5

Enjoyed the music but the show could have been better. Five Finger Death Punch was on stage for only about an hour and thirty minutes. That's on the shorter end for a headliner. There were also no video screens to see the band on stage for those sitting further away. Pretty disappointing when I've been to many other concerts where this is used, even at smaller venues in Regina with lesser known bands they've had this. I did enjoy the music from Five Finger Death Punch and from the opening bands but I still came away feeling it could have been better.

The concert itself was unreal! FFDP is my teen son’s favourite band, so I purchased tickets as a gift for him. I ended up loving the show myself. My som said “I think they sounded better live!” One downside was I missed the entire Slaughter to Prevail set because the merch lines were ridiculous. I stood in line for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

  • Show was awesome. Love FFDP

by Faith on 2024-08-27SaskTel Centre - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5

Show was awesome. Sound was great, has really good seats, funeral portrait and slaughter prevail were really good and FFDP is always awesome great entertainers. Temp was good in arena, the only thing is great west beer is awful.

  • Five Stars for FFDP

by Brad Burgart on 2024-08-27SaskTel Centre - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was a great show. Saw FFDP April 2010. They have grown as a band, put on a superb show and have come into their own. Five Stars for FFDP

  • Where was Marilyn Manson

by Jessie on 2024-08-27SaskTel Centre - SaskatoonRating: 3 out of 5

I was to the understanding that Marilyn Manson was the opener. Not going to lie was very disappointing that he wasn’t. All in all it was a good concert.

  • Cash well spent

Awesome show. All 3 bands rocked out. Found a new fav band in Funeral Portrait. So worth my money.

  • Life changing

by Jada on 2022-10-29Rating: 5 out of 5

You guys came to Toronto and that was my first ever big concert i believe in 2015. I have seen probably close to 50+ performances since then and i can still say 5FDP was my #1. You also managed to bring me and my father closer together whois a very angry person (not physical just angry). I just wanted to thank you guys for everything you do all the lives you've changed and not just becuase of my experience with my dad but for how relatable your music really is to common day to day people and not just those who are wealthy. I wish the group all the best in creating your final album, maybe a final tour as well with Canadian shows?? 🥲

  • 3 Opening Bands made the trip worth it

    by electron58 on 2016-12-03Huntington Center - ToledoRating: 4 out of 5

Main reason we went, was for Sixx A.M. Glad we went. They were awesome in person. As Lions, as the first opening band was enjoyable. Shinedown was very impressive. High energy. Great singer. Same with Sixx A.M. - Great singer. Was not really impressed with FFDP. I expected more, but they were very tame. Lot of talking. Stayed until the end, only because we came in from out of town. Didn't wait for any encore, if there was one. Seemed a lot of people had the same idea, as there were masses streaming out. Overall, it was a great show. Like I said, the first 3 bands were fantastic.

  • Shinedown was amazing!

  • My First Meet and Greet

by BaconPancakes on 2016-09-23MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

Five Finger Death Punch was a really good show to see. They are very good singers live. Papa Roach went on too long for me. It seemed liked they had more stage time than FFDP. I was there to see FFDP so that was dumb in my opinion. I got the meet and greet package and we were supposed to get in early admission at 6 pm, but we were supposed to be there for 6 for the meet and greet. The concert started at 6:45 and I didn't see them until almost 6:40. No crowd free merchandise shopping either. Very poorly organized on their part. Security was very good. The mosh pit wasn't awful but the amount of crowd surfers was extremely annoying. I got kicked in the head by one. Went from 6:45-11:20. FATN, Sixx AM, Papa Roach and then FFDP. TL;DR - great show, bad organization.

  • Five Finger Death Punch Rocks!

by KTmoney on 2016-09-23MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

  • Five finger death punch papa roach and guests

by TracyK on 2016-09-23MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

Five Finger Death Punch Papa Roach 6 a.m. and From Ashes to New put on a great show. But once again MTS Centre as prices were way too high. I don't understand why they charge so much it's ridiculous. Glad that I don't drink that much otherwise I would have been pretty outraged. I'm glad the crowds and the bands were all very amazing.
