About

Five Finger Death Punch are a heavy metal band founded in 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The band released their first album, The Way of the Fist, in 2007. Their 2009 follow-up War Is the Answer kicked off eight consecutive Top 10 releases on the Billboard 200, including three back-to-back No. 2 debuts for 2013’s The Wrong Side of Heaven, Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 and 2015’s Got Your Six. Meanwhile, the group earned RIAA platinum certifications for their 2010 cover of Bad Company’s “Bad Company,” a 2018 remix of Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band’s “Blue on Black” featuring Shepherd, Brian May of Queen and country singer Brantley Gilbert and the 2020 single “A Little Bit Off” from the band’s eighth album, F8. Overall, 5FDP have logged 14 No. 1s on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. In 2022, the band released their ninth album AfterLife. Five Finger Death Punch consists of founding member and guitarist Zoltan Bathory, vocalist Ivan Moody, guitarist Andy James, bassist Chris Kael and drummer Charlie Engen.

Papa Roach Killed It, 5FDP was good

    by Rednex3 on 2016-09-12Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

Seen Papa Roach in the past and they were awesome this time. Non stop action and their live sound is awesome. Was a touch disappointed with 5FDP; finally got a chance to see them live and the sound mix could have been better. When they were in full swing it was really hard to hear Ivan. They could use some spontaneity or new format as well. If you've listened to the live stuff on Wrong Side Of Heaven, that's the show. There were some songs from Got Your Six added, but it's pretty much a standard package with not much variation. Don't get me wrong here, 5FDP is awesome and the show was good, I just expected a little better sound mix from a band as accomplished as them. I do have to say though, the Jeremy's drum solo was probably the most entertaining one I have seen before. The guy is an unbelievable with an amazing kit. Super cool costume too!

5FDP was amazing papa roach was stellar

    by Jaxi2014 on 2016-09-12Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

This concert was awesome!! From ashes to new was awesome! Wasn't expecting to see them so was a wicked treat. They really started the crowd participation at the concert. Sixx am rocked pretty hard loved the messages of never give up in all their songs. Papa Roach was incredible one of my favourite bands since 2004. They really did an amazing show! Crowd participation and getting up in the stands was just incredible. 5FDP had pretty wicked stage show that pleased all elements, I loved their acoustic performance as well as the part in the show where they brought children up on stage. Wicked and thoughtful band that really cares about the fans. All the bands made and effort but papa roach and 5fdp really blew it away.

Such a good show. Love the atmosphere of the floor and there should be no other option with a show like this. Have missed 5fdp the last 3 times in sk but so not disappointed when I saw them.

    Wild time!!

by Instagator68 on 2013-10-06Shaw Conference Centre - Edmonton

This show was very fast-paced with some really good acts!! Miss May I from Idaho and 2 other opening acts, before Five Finger Death Punch came on stage!! The lead singer is such a great singer and is filled with so much testosterone, that he gets the crowd going wild. To remember the lyrics to all these songs, is amazing in itself, besides the fact that he sings them so fast! The crowd loved them and my friend enjoyed his first rock concert by attending the mosh pit and crowd surfing!! If he liked this show, even though he's a country music fan, goes to show you how enjoyable Five Finger Death Punch is to all music fans!!

    Good concert, bad venue

by Anonymous on 2013-10-05Agribition Building - Evraz Place - Regina

Got tickets for son & friends at Brandt Centre in Regina. Got really good seats for them or so I thought BUT last minute Regina changed venue to Agribition building?! It was all standing and NO seating!?! Wow is that ever poor. I would have appreciated warning of this and some money back. However, The concert was awesome and The boys said the bands were great. They got to shake hands with lead singer from FFDP so they were pumped. They played til 11:30, so that was good. Great concert FFDP but next time we won't be coming to see you in Regina, we'll go to Winnipeg or Saskatoon.

    FFDP was amaze balls!!!!

by Jmking303 on 2013-10-04Shaw Conference Centre - Edmonton

I've seen Five Finger Death Punch last year and thy were awesome, I didn't think they could get better, but they did!!! This year their performance and crowd interaction was unbelievably amazing!! Also Gemini Syndrome was bad ass! I heard them for the first time on SiriusXM and was immediately hooked, but seeing them live and meeting them was so awesome. Escape the Fate also did a really good job! Great crowd interaction as well, and of course they rocked it. But FFDP was just so amazing, they just blew me away. My fiancé and I were more than impressed and we'll see them again for sure!!
