About

Five Finger Death Punch are a heavy metal band founded in 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The band released their first album, The Way of the Fist, in 2007. Their 2009 follow-up War Is the Answer kicked off eight consecutive Top 10 releases on the Billboard 200, including three back-to-back No. 2 debuts for 2013’s The Wrong Side of Heaven, Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 and 2015’s Got Your Six. Meanwhile, the group earned RIAA platinum certifications for their 2010 cover of Bad Company’s “Bad Company,” a 2018 remix of Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band’s “Blue on Black” featuring Shepherd, Brian May of Queen and country singer Brantley Gilbert and the 2020 single “A Little Bit Off” from the band’s eighth album, F8. Overall, 5FDP have logged 14 No. 1s on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. In 2022, the band released their ninth album AfterLife. Five Finger Death Punch consists of founding member and guitarist Zoltan Bathory, vocalist Ivan Moody, guitarist Andy James, bassist Chris Kael and drummer Charlie Engen.

  • Unforgettable!!!

by sandramargaret on 2016-09-20Northlands Coliseum (formerly known as Rexall Place) - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

This heavier genre is not something that I would normally listen to, but my 10 yr. old son is all about the rock! These tickets were actually a birthday present for him.. Our seats were amazing and the bands gave it their all. The crowd sang along to many of the songs, I've never been to a more involved concert ever!

  • PaPa rocks

Openers were decent enough and played the songs I wanted to hear. Merch lines were way too long!! Papa Roach was a great band to see, this was a drunken internet buy and I was questioning it but Papa was worth every dollar.

  • Unreal!! 5fdp, Papa Roach and Sixx a.m.!!!

by Milliemac on 2016-09-20Northlands Coliseum (formerly known as Rexall Place) - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

Show itself was great! All the bands were entertaining and sounded great! We missed the firts opening act though...The crowd seemed great..no major issues. Drink lines and merch lines were waaayyyyy too long! We ended up not having anything to drink and left with no merch because the lines were too long :(

  • Unreal Time

by justin4995 on 2016-09-20Northlands Coliseum (formerly known as Rexall Place) - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

Best way to kick off a night! All bands were very entertaining and full of energy. Love that 5FDP invited all the kids on stage and sang in front of them .

  • Best show I've seen in a while

Great show- all the bands rocked the roof off Rexall from start to finish.

  • Papa Roach and Five Finger Death Punch Rocked!

by Fightfan5 on 2016-09-20Northlands Coliseum (formerly known as Rexall Place) - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Papa Roach always puts on such a great high energy show, and really interacts with the crowd. Five Finger Death Punch were amazing as I knew they were going to be!

Disappointed in Medicine Hat fans! Not well attended and we wont draw bands if we dont support them

Great concert! FFDP & Papa Roach really got the crowd into it.

  • Awesome night

by Azreal on 2016-09-19Canalta Centre - Medicine HatRating: 5 out of 5

That night was the best night of my life, it's definitely gonna be hard to top that.

  • by Anonymous on 2016-09-19Brandt Centre - Evraz Place - ReginaRating: 5 out of 5

I'm a big fan of all 3 bands therefore I thought the show was amazing! Each played tons of songs and encouraged participation from the crowds! Great show guys!

  • Meh with a bit of oh yeah...

by Smokinlizardbreath on 2016-09-19Canalta Centre - Medicine HatRating: 4 out of 5

We unfortunately missed From Ashes to New (We caught the last couple songs, they were good). Then Sixx AM. The sound was terrible, we could hardly hear the singer. The reverb in the Canalta was horrible. I am sure they were a good band, the crowd liked them...so good enough. Papa Roach was actually the highlight, they got the crowd going, had the world's lamest mosh pit (to be fair it was Medicine Hat's first big concert, they were not prepared for that hahahaha). Sound was good, they played for a long time, longer than our last band. Now 5FDP, we saw them last time they came though in Calgary, they were amazing, this time I would say they were Meh. They didn't play very long, they came out wearing their own band shirts (is that a thing???) I just didn't feel the same energy. Still was good, sound was good.

  • Too good to say anything bad!

by LilMissVampy on 2016-09-19Canalta Centre - Medicine HatRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing bands! The sounds of each band flowed so well together. Great energy from all the bands. How much they enjoy the fans can be felt through their music. Definitely will be bringing my kids to the next show. Something I can't let them miss.

  • More like 3 fingers

    by Rocky5 on 2016-09-19Canalta Centre - Medicine HatRating: 4 out of 5

Great concert except 5 finger only played for about an hour,so we didn't get to hear a lot of songs that definitely should have been on the set list.e.g.,far from home, not my kind, watch you bleed, mine.I'll keep that in mind when I burn the new album instead of buying it.

  • A Must SEE!!!!

    by RU469 on 2016-09-19Brandt Centre - Evraz Place - ReginaRating: 5 out of 5

absolutely one of the best shows i have seen! Papa Roach got everyone out of their seats and the crowd interaction and electricity was something to see!

  • 5 Hours of Rock!

    by Grinch3 on 2016-09-17Brandt Centre - Evraz Place - ReginaRating: 5 out of 5

4 bands. 5 hours. Wow most bang for the buck I've ever gotten at a concert! This should be Tour of the Year winner.

  • by RyanG on 2016-09-17Brandt Centre - Evraz Place - ReginaRating: 4 out of 5

Five finger was great they put on an awesome show. Papa roach and the other 2 bands were not that good. I should have showed up at 9:30 just before five went on stage

  • Decent Co-Headliner

by SocialOutkast on 2016-09-17Brandt Centre - Evraz Place - ReginaRating: 3 out of 5

I went to the concert to see Fiver Finger Death Punch but was more impressed with Papa Roach. Papa Roach go the crowd involved, went around the crowd, and sounded very enthused to be there. Five Finger Death Punch sounded very generic and plain and just sang their songs without putting in much effort.

  • Unforgettable Night!!

    by Mustaine1 on 2016-09-17Brandt Centre - Evraz Place - ReginaRating: 5 out of 5

5FDP treated us with a night I'll never forget. My 4 yr old son loves them and he was lucky enough to be brought on stage for a song!! Such a cool and unique experience, he's been talking about it ever since! During the show Ivan made sure to wave to him and Jason made sure he got him a pick... Huge kudos to the guys and both their staff and Brandt staff for making his night so special!!! Been to countless metal shows myself and first time seeing 5FDP and they put on a great show!!! Thanks for doing such an extensive tour of Canada and hitting some of the smaller centers.
