One of the best arenas I've been to. Great arena experience and great value compared to many others like the ACC in Toronto.

BB&T Center "Purse Size Policy" Inconsistencies

by bowlingtrophy on 2017-03-19BB&T Center - Sunrise

Read the fine print on your ticket--all of it. The NHL has a maximum allowable "purse" size for games--no more than 12" x 12", and the BB&T Center handles this carelessly. At the BB&T center, the parking lot is huge--there is no public transport out there to the edge of the Evergaldes. Along the very long walk from the car to the rink, 2 different employees checked (i.e. measured) my wife's bag to ensure it is under the max. allowable size--BOTH confirmed it did. Security at the gate, however turned her away, saying her purse, was too big. We lodged a complaint with Guest Services, & received a phone call about it 2 days later. They asked if my wife was told by security screeners that there was a courtesy golf cart to shuttle her back to the car to lock up her purse--they did not. They also asked if security screeners told us that there were lockers at another entrance if we didn't want to go all the way back to the car--they did not. There were other frustrated patrons significantly inconvenienced by this at the same time.

    by 1leaffan on 2017-03-17BB&T Center - Sunrise

Was excited to even go to the game, our seats were great, our team not so good tonight. We are entitled to have a bad game now and then.

Well-played game; lots of close calls!

by BuAndDa on 2016-12-31BB&T Center - Sunrise

Nice experience, EXCEPT they play the music during breaks and intermission WAY too loudly! You need ear plugs to not get a headache. Hard to talk to people over the excessive noise. Bring back the old-fashioned organ music, a la the Chicago Stadium!

Affordable, good team, good crowd, nice arena, great experience. I have been to many NHL rink up north and BB&T and Panthers are meeting expectations. Crowd could be more knowledgeable but people are behind their team with Panthers gear. Great hockey night

Toronto Maple Leafs at Florida Panthers

    by Precision71 on 2016-04-04BB&T Center - Sunrise

Had an excellent seat at a reasonable price. Not like Toronto, where you pay through the nose for everything. Bonus, the Maple Leafs won! Parking is free if you park across the road at the Sawgrass Outlet Mall, just had to walk up the Mall entrance road, across the street, and through the parking area to the BBT center.

Great Night at BB &T Centre

by Mcaush on 2016-02-15BB&T Center - Sunrise

Were very pleased with entrance to rink, flowed smoothly and staff were very helpful. Usher, Raphael, in Section 111 was very helpful in locating seats. My wife thought she had lost her rings and he was extremely helpful in explaining how we could return to check our vehicle to see if they were there. There was also a young lady at the entrance who was extremely helpful, unfortunately we do not have her name and I wish we did since she was most helpful in accommodating our request and situation. We were able to return and enjoy the remainder of the game. We have been to several professional sporting venues this year and found the concessions to be the most expensive we have visited this year.

    A great venue for hockey

by Kimboma on 2016-02-01BB&T Center - Sunrise

The pre game events and atmosphere outside is great. The patio inside is great for enjoying a beer on a warm night. The chicken burger is real chicken breast and tasty.

Flames were still on the beach

by DennyTooMany on 2015-11-13BB&T Center - Sunrise

Fun to be there for my Flames, too bad they didn't show up to play. Go for the $20 seats , then sit wherever you want. Maybe 5,000 attendance.

    Panthers vs Bruins

by iwenttoseeonedirection on 2015-03-27BB&T Center Florida Panthers - Sunrise

It's South Florida and I don't think many are there because they grew up playing the game. I'd say that most fans are there for the opposing team (seriously 25% Florida/75% other team). The game was good and went into a shoot out. It was super annoying though that rather than show replays, the fan cam/kiss cam/call-it-what you like cam, always showed the fans...the same ones over and over. It is not that I wanted to be on the cam...I wanted to see the replay. The penalty clock was also to find. It was nice that the scoreboard constantlu posted the players who were on the ice. Our family 4 pack for $149 included 4 tickets, parking, and 4 hot dogs and pop (soda). GREAT DEAL!!!
