Leafs can't handle panthers - again!

by BuAndDa on 2012-03-15BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - Sunrise

Once again the leafs disappointed hundreds of blue-jerseyed Leaf fans who trekked down from Canada. FYI, the food at bank atlantic is way too pricey, but the free parking is nice.

    Hockey in the South

by LeafsRock on 2012-03-15BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - Sunrise

The BankAtlantic Center, home to the Florida Panthers is an excellent venue for hockey. The buidling was full (to see the Leafs!) and the energy in the building was fantastic.

    Florida hockey was great!

by clinkasaurus on 2012-03-08BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - Sunrise

Arrived at the Bank Atlantic Center in shorts and it was a bit colder inside than expected. The venue was one of the best looking facilities I've been in. The game started out with a bang with the Sens up by two and then they went to sleep. One for the win column for the Panthers.

    Fair Prices for NHL game

by emLe on 2012-03-05BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - Sunrise

This was my first time in the BankAtlantic Center, but my 8th NHL arena. In comparison to other locations, this was a great price for lower level seats, free parking, and some fun free fan activities around the arena (we had our picture taken, printed, and emailed). The good: ticket prices and availability, free parking The bad: Concession prices were the highest of any arena I've been to (including Toronto), the in-game content was terrible and amateurish (cheerleaders, mascot with grammatically incorrect/misspelled cheer signs, figure skaters, inflatable panther that had to be cleared away before the game), and the loudspeaker was RIDICULOUSLY LOUD. They urged fans to "get loud" at almost every stoppage, but you'd ever know if anyone was cheering over the din of the loudspeaker. All the negatives aside, this is a team that has clinched a playoff spot and for the ticket prices, is a good evening out for a family. Just bring your own snacks.

    hockey game of Feb. 25

by charlemagne on 2012-02-28BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - Sunrise

Even if our team lost we had a good time. The building is great, well designed easy accessible one of the best amphitheatre we have seen. My only negative comment is that the place is cold I MEAN VERY VERY COLD we are canadian used to cold weather but when we watch a hockey game we do not expect to have to wear our winter coats.... However we will be back next year

    Fights

by GINOTA on 2012-02-25BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - Sunrise

On the overall, the game was great, except for the fights. I brought my 9 year old son to the game and showed him that heros (the players) fight. On the other hand, I tell him that this is unacceptable behaviour. This is a total mixed message. The game itself was good though. I thoroughly enjoyed watching our home team (SENS) win with a 6 to 2 score. I also loved the fact that parking is free and the lot is easy to tell where you've parket your vehicle.

Great place to watch a hockey game.

by Mirage00 on 2012-01-31BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - Sunrise

The arena in Florida is great. Even if you are from the oppososite team the Florida fans are great and friendly. The arena is cold so wear a sweater or better yet your team jersey. Great atmosphere. The service as far as food and drinks is great. Seats are priced very affordable and the arena is so great that you will pretty much have a great view almost anywhere. Overall it was a great place to watch hockey. There is free parking outside lots of activities and great atmosphere . Thumbs up.

    Rangers too strong for kitties

by BuAndDa on 2012-01-01BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - Sunrise

the rangers snuffed out the drama in the first minute with an early goal. Not worth the $270 we 3 paid to see the game.

    we love hockey in Florida

by johhil on 2011-10-10BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - Sunrise

we saw the 2 hockey teams from Florida, what a joy ! We had good places, third row on the side of the aile, very good view. Quiet game but it was pre-season and the big names were not playing that night. But we loved it anyway because we love hockey so much.

    Go Habs Go

by Ritch55 on 2011-01-04BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - Sunrise

Attending a Habs game in an arena other than the Bell Center was a blast. The Atmosphere at the Bank Atlantic Center was amazing and fun. The music, mascots, pie in the face and general atmosphere at this event were more than I had hoped for. I'll be coming back.

    Hockey in Florida

by finsider on 2010-12-09BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - Sunrise

I am Canadian so hockey games here are weird small, quiet, crowds Seats were great and about 20% of cost at home In all fairness it is sad to have hockey here and no teams in more Canadian cities where every game would sell out I come here mostly for football and that is fantastic here Hockey is just an add on for me
