FRENCH HORN REBELLION IN CONCERT:
 
French Horn Rebellion makes super catchy electro-rock that combines the synth-soaked goodness of '80s pop and the bass-heavy beats of EDM. At their live shows brothers David and Robert Perlick-Molinari perform witty party anthems like "This Moment" and "Dancing Out" with plenty of campy theatricality and wry humor, but they're dead serious about one thing: inciting an epic party that lasts from the moment they take the stage until the last encore. Dance-happy fans canít get enough of the buoyant beats, catchy-as-heck choruses, synchronized back-up dancers, and outrÈ touches like Day-Glo stagewear. Underpinning the freewheeling fun is no small amount of virtuosic musicianship, including live French horn playing from lead singer Daniel and keys courtesy of producer extraordinaire Robert. Fans will be lining up to get down with French Horn Rebellion on their spring 2016 tour featuring like-minded electro-funk purveyors Mystery Skulls.

French Horn Rebellion began in the mid-ë00s when Robert Perlick-Molinari ñ then a French horn player with the Chicago Civic Orchestra ñ got bored with classical music and started experimenting with electronic beats. He joined forces with his brother, bassoonist and audio engineer David, and in 2007 the pair released their self-titled debut album. They spent the next several years touring the country and fine-tuning their sound, and in 2011 they released their sophomore LP The Infinite Music of French Horn Rebellion. Critics and fans alike latched on to the albumís party-worthy blend of bumping basslines, lush synths, and intelligent lyrics, and soon the brothers were opening up for indie darlings like MGMT, Cut Copy, and Yelle. Since then French Horn Rebellion has kept the good times flowing with sweat-inducing performances on tour and stellar releases like their 2015 EP Fooliní Around.
