    Absolutely Awesome

by Sophie R on 2024-03-05National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - Ottawa

I absolutely loved Frozen!! I only watched the movie a week before going to the show. I was very curious to see how they were going to replicate everything on the live stage. the special effects were absolutely awesome and blew me away. The last scene of the first act was unbelievable. Don't blink you will miss the best part with the dress changing. The way Sven and Olaf were moving was awesome! There were times I forgot they are puppets.

I brought my two granddaughters aged 18 and 12 and my husband and they everyone loved it. I have seen many productions of Broadway across Canada and they never disappoint. Can’t wait for the Lion King next year.

    Blown Away.

by Gnomie G on 2024-03-04National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - Ottawa

This show was FANTASTIC! The singers and actors did an awesome job. The play was really well written in transitioning from movie to stage. And of course, the Let It Go highlight was incredible ... I cried. Really well done. Has inspired me to come back to watching musical stage after being absent for 30 years. Next up ... SIX and Les Miserable. Well done everyone!

    Fantastic!

by Chantal on 2024-03-03National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - Ottawa

Haven’t seen anything this good since the Lion King. Absolutely amazing first and foremost these performers have amazing talent. The characters were absolutely believable with personalities that shine through any expectations. The puppeteer brought Olaf to life as good as any computer animation! The actor behind the body language of Sven did it absolute justice! We enjoyed this show even more than the movie itself. Hats off to the entire cast, special effect’s coordinators, music composers stage designers, so on and so forth. Thank you, it was such a pleasure and privilege to witness this amalgamation of beautiful talent.

    Enchanting entertainment

by MilB on 2024-03-03National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - Ottawa

With many children in dress up, the atmosphere was magical. The child actors were outstanding. Because of so many children attending, it would have been thrilling to be able to sing along for the final song of Let it Go. It seemed to end quite abruptly. Congratulations to the props crew!

    Top 3

by Teecee on 2024-03-02National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - Ottawa

This was one of the best touring broadway shows in a while. The top leads were brilliant. The play had a nice balance of humour, and the special effects were awesome!! The sets were well done!! The scene with the leaves covering body parts were not necessary with all the children who attended. I heard in the room they are naked!!!
