Godspeed You! Black Emperor Tickets

I won't go into great details, but this show was a very enjoyable experience. The music was (obviously) excellent, GYBE really have mastered the art of the infinite crescendo. The visuals, which are 16mm film loops being manipulated live, were great as well. Bravo Karl Lemieux. Très bon show: musique excellente, crescendos infinis, visuels super intéressant par Karl Lemieux. Aussi bravo pour la sono la qualité sonore était très bonne.

Great show….cathartic, even. As a lifelong Montrealer I’ve always wanted to see this band perform live So happy I got to finally make it happen It was a really proud “Montreal music moment” for me The musicianship on that stage is unmatched…an incredibly talented group of people Together with the visuals (projections) it was an unforgettable experience!!!

Godspeed was really good. Sound was great. People on their phone through the whole show made it really unpleasant.

Completely mesmerized and blown away again and again after seeing them from 2015 the first time, last year the second and this year the third! I think my ears are hurting a bit much but my heart thanks the band for always giving it their all each and every show!

Saw them in Toronto at Danforth in 2015. Was great, they did a song from Don’t Bend which is my fav from them so honestly prob my fav set tho this time it was in Oshawa and it was also great tho I just wish they’d do some older songs but I get they focus on recent or newest material which they actually performed 3 new songs to which I read they got a newer album rumoured to drop in sept. I quickly snagged a copy of Don’t Bend on vinyl for a signature and to my advantage EFRIM is out there tidying up so I asked for him to sign it. Happily he did with a smile. I told him how I saw him last in 2015 @ Danforth, he responds with “yea, this was a better show tonight” lmao

To quote a person I overheard behind me, it was "MIGHTY". It sounded absolutely massive. They didn't play (never hope for that) Lift Yr Skinny Fists which is one the most beautiful pieces of music I know but it was all a captivating treat!
