Gogol Bordello rocked the Danforth Music Hall with an unrelenting, high energy spectacle! Great vibe throughout the almost two hour set. Great Party!

Show was great but the sound was terrible not sure if it was because of venue or there sound guys.

  • Best Concert in a long time

It was an amazing experience. Gogol Bordello is a great group to see live. They're talented, energetic, and interactive. The venue was perfect for it too. I would go see them again in a heartbeat!

  • Gogol still rocking it hard.

    by Kimbo5 on 2013-08-17Flames Central - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

I couldn't believe how much energy they had. They give quite a show and everyone was having a blast. I still can't believe the first floor was a mosh pit. Crazy but fun. There a few idiots eho think they need to be aggressive drunk to enjoy yge show, which was a bit of a negative, but I guess that happens no matter where you go.

  • My meterstick for "fun"

by smrtblonde on 2013-08-16Flames Central - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Gogol Bordello is the most fun of any band I've seen. How many bands can boast nonstop crowd surfing during a violin or an accordion solo? How many bands will pour a bottle of wine on the crowd and have people ask for more? They get you to DANCE until you think you can't, even when Flames Central doesn't have A/C and you are completely drenched in sweat ... and then you dance some more! I will see them each and every time they return.

  • This group of rag tags rocked it out.

One of the best live shows ever, high energy, great music, great band. Worth every penny for the ticket. Would see them again and again. Show was great except for the guy in the kilt body surfing with his junk hanging out

  • GB, ONE OF THE BEST CONCERTS I'VE BEEN TO.

    by bubbles9 on 2012-07-04Métropolis - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

SO much energy. first time I've ever seen a band come back on stage to encore a SECOND time, after house lights were already turned on! Montreal is a fantastic place to see concerts, but Gogol Bordello really fed off the energy of the crowd. A month later, I am still reminiscing the event. I would definitely recommend seeing them in concert, and hope they come back again soon!

  • The concert was great!

I know they might have had even better concerts in the past, but I was daancing all the time and really enjoyed myself, so the goal has been reached! I would have liked to play some of the older songs that I like...

Probably the greatest show I've ever been to. So much energy! (Not that I'd expect anything but extreme amounts of energy from these guys) I danced the entire time!

What an amazing show! I can't remember the last time I saw a band with this much energy, and kept the crowd pumped the entire time. You can tell they love what they do. I would go see them again in a heartbeat.

A life changing event! Best party of your life! Stage presence & charisma like no other! One of the greatest bands in music history!

Timing was not good, it was not same schedule that I heard before the performance. We had two long performances before Gogol Bordello's concert. Both of them were so boring.

  • Great

Great show. Wish they mixed up the setlist a bit though.

  • by MZeroOne on 2010-10-28Commodore Ballroom - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Awesome show, packed house, everyone dancing and singing, there was even some crowd surfing. The band played primarily music off their latest album "Transcontinental Hustler" but still found room for old favourites like "Start Wearing Purple", "American Wedding" and "Alcohol".

  • gogol rocks my socks

  • GYPSY PUNK AT ITS BEST!!!

    by 0nslow on 2010-04-23Sound Academy - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

After seeing Gogol Bordello in 2008, I decided that I would never miss another one of their shows in Toronto. They are the most energetic, entertaining, crowd-pleasing band around!! I booked an unpaid night off work just so I could go see them and it was worth every penny in lost pay! I was a bit late getting in to the show because I wasn't very interested in the opening bands. I caught the last few songs of the band right before GB and I was impressed with the circus performers swinging above the band while they played. That was something new!! The main floor was crowded and very hot and I'm getting a bit old to be "moshing" so I looked up and saw that there was a balcony. I made my way up there, sat in the front row and had an excellent view of the concert. Gogol Bordello came on and rocked the place for 2 hours straight!!! We sang along and danced to the music and watched the slam-dancing and crowd surfing below us. The heat coming up from the main floor made me glad I chose the balcony!! At the end of the show, Eugene invited everyone to the after-party at the Blue Moon Pub on Queen Street. I went there and hung out while DJ Hutz spun discs and the band mingled with the partiers. I was amazed to discover this entirely new (to me) genre of Eastern European dance music. I loved hearing Balkan Beat, Gypsy Funk, and Dub Brass for the first time. I'll have to look into some of the bands playing that kind of music. The way the people were dancing and the way they were dressed made me think I was in a nightclub in Kiev or Moscow!! All in all, I had a great time and I can't wait to see Gogol Bordello again and invite lots of friends to see them with me!!!
