Golden State Warriors History
Founded in 1946, the Warriors called the city of Philadelphia home for 16 memorable years before moving to the West Coast in 1962 to become the San Francisco Warriors. In 1971, the Golden State Warriors were born when the team moved across the Bay to Oakland.
The team's storied history includes seven NBA Championships, an NBA-record 73 wins during the 2015–16 season, eight players named to the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team and 31 members inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
The Golden State Warriors also have the distinction of having the third most NBA Championships to their name (seven), and the third-most appearances in the NBA Finals (11). The only teams that have more are the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics. The current team is led by two-time league MVP Stephen Curry, who won the Clutch Player of the Year Award in 2024, and eight-time All-NBA Defensive selection Draymond Green. The Golden State Warriors’ most recent NBA Championship came in 2022.

Great game but I came as a Raptors fan so was not disappointed. Venue is fantastic & crowd was friendly.
A fun night for a non-basketball fan. Something was going on at all times. Only complaint was tickets said 7:30 pm start but tip off was not until about 7:55.
Amazing show of GSW. Oracle arena was full and Phoenix didn't fight too much.
The game was amazing. The seats had a good angle of the court. Man did the arena get loud. The Warriors made a couple good pushes and the game was exciting. Only OT or a victory would have made the game better.
a good time at a great arena. The transit system is very easy to get around on.
