    Loved everything thing we did.

by Stamps Fan on 2019-11-24Scotiabank Saddledome - Calgary

We loved everything we did from the events we paid for to the free entertainment. It was great that everything was together on the grounds so you were not having to use transportation to get from one place to another. Nice that there was so much free entertainment for family’s of all ages. The only issue was the start time of paid events was not clear on the tickets. It should of had the time of the doors opening and event start time so we did not arrive so early to wait outside for the doors to open. The Calgary Grey Cup Committee did a great job.

    Bring the Energy

    by CSQuick6 on 2019-11-24Scotiabank Saddledome - Calgary

Nice that everything was within the same vicinity for the most part. Excellent energy and overall experience. I hope CALGARY gets to host the Grey Cup again in the near future!! They put on a great party. Everyone I’ve talked to had an amazing time. I wish I could’ve done more events, but I’m happy I had planned what I did and took advantage of the free admission events as they kept the vibe alive and well!

would have been nice to have seating

by Delli on 2016-12-01Exhibition Place - Toronto

It was nice to be indoors and to interact with other fans. But there was no seating and the band was really loud. It is funny. One of the sections for review is "your seats". There were no seats. How. Misleading.

Ok event but needed some work

by Seejman on 2016-12-01Exhibition Place - Toronto

The pregame party was ok for what it was, but there were a few gaps. First and foremost, why would anyone organize a event that was supposed to have several thousand people at it for up to five hours, but then provide no real seating? A couple of dozen beanbag chairs doesn't cut it. As a result, people were sprawled on the floor all over the place trying to eat and rest their joints from the hard concrete floor. There also needed to be a few more activity areas for people to do things at, and for some reason the food services people seemed surprised that when only hamburgers and hotdogs were available, attendees wanted hamburgers and hotdogs. People were waiting 10-15 minutes to get their food. The band was good though, and probably saved the event.

The venue would have been much more enjoyable if there had been any seating offered and even without that high top tables would've been nice. Numerous guest took to sitting on the floor anywhere available , guest comfort not accommodated at all. Wouldn't have purchased tickets to the event had we known in advance

    Best Grey Cup Event!

by husbandandwife on 2015-12-13RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg - Winnipeg

I attend this event every time I attend the Grey Cup and this one did not disappoint. It was like a reunion, seeing lots of friends I have not seen for a long time. Love that social food!!

    Shouldn't have gone

by Sheosee on 2015-12-02Max Bell Field House - Winnipeg

The details stated there would be food, drinks & DJ. The DJ was all right, the drinks were expensive (kind of to be expected, but beer was the most expensive), but the food was poorly done. There were open tables with tons of pizza laid out. Anybody could help themselves & some touched pieces & left them in the box. I can't eat dairy & was annoyed at paying for food that I couldn't eat. If the venue was licensed to serve food & alcohol, it should have taken better care to ensure that the food was properly handled.

    Not worth the money!!!

by albertabluesky on 2015-12-02University of Manitoba Campus - Winnipeg

Great idea with bad execution, was so crowded we didn't have time to buy a beverage. Food was very good however some buffet tables hidden out of site!! No where to sit and eat, we ended up on the side of the running track. Don't get me started on the washroom setup...just awful, we actually left & went to the hockey rink adjacent. Good idea to have us scanned right into the game, but didn't know beforehand and everyone digging out their game tickets caused much confusion & delay.

a good time at Pre-Football Grey Cup game party

by game334hot on 2015-12-02University of Manitoba Campus - Winnipeg

There was good food & good drinks at the Monsanto VIP Indoor Tailgate Party. I ate 3 Bison burgers & 3 Chili & potato wedges with a Rye & Coke. There was good props around the show & buffet at Max Bell Field House, U of M campus. There was a good number of people at the Max Bell Grey Cup party, pre-game event. I have a good time eating the lunch buffet & keeping company with the people at the party.

    Excellent Party - Crappy Refreshments

by Nipper1 on 2015-12-01RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg - Winnipeg

Enjoyed the party, the lunch was great, the fans were alot of fun. Not sure why we had to pay $10.00 for the worst beer. This was a disappointment.

Glad I didn't pay for the ticket.

by Blueryder on 2015-11-30Monsanto indoor tail gate party - Winnipeg

one of the worse events I ever went to. Glad I didn't pay for the ticket. Save your money people if this is an event at next year's Grey Cup, Better off going to a local restaurant or tavern prior to the game. I feel for the people who paid for the tickets.

    Touchdown Manitoba a quality event.

by Aiche on 2015-11-30RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg - Winnipeg

Thank you Touchdown Manitoba for a quality and memorable event. The lunches served are typical of Manitoba socials and satisfied everyone I talked to. The cheerleaders and bands kept everyone entertained. Did not meet anyone who was dissatisfied. Attended several other events but this event was outstanding.

    The Sheepdogs are talented musicians

by Aiche on 2015-11-30RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg - Winnipeg

I have heard their music on many occasions but until this concert I had not realized how talented their musical skills are. Most groups have a lead and rhythm guitarist. This group has two lead guitarists who are very talented. Each member of this group has musical skills that surpass many other groups. Highly recommend seeing them live if you have a chance.

The opening band was the best part!!!

by WithaC on 2015-11-30RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg - Winnipeg

What a wonderfully well organized event!!!! Being a sold out show, I was surprised that I barely had to wait in line for anything. The opening band Attica Riots were amazing!!! I will definitely be going to see them again.

    Touchdown Manitoba

by pepper081889 on 2015-11-30RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg - Winnipeg

Fantastic event. Well layed out in the social hall. Lots of bathrooms. Liked the prize layout out away from the dance and drinking area. Good size dance floor. Liked the tables and chairs this year which was great for older crowd. Young ones stand around anywhere anyways. Beautifully decorated. Great band, loved them. Good autograph session but would like to have seen more players like a constant rotation. Lots of drink ticket sellers, lots of servers, no long lineups. Other cities need to have learned from this. Great social food and lots of it. Thanks for a fantastic time. Planners did a great job. Would like to see the sponsors stay on board for when this social is put on in other cities as well.

Dallas Smith concert at convention center

by Anonymous on 2015-11-29RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg - Winnipeg

Tickets said 7:30 but concert didn't start until 8:30. Doors opened at 7:30. No sitting room! Sitting numbers were on the tickets. Only a few bar tables to lean on. Warm up acts played for 45 minutes with a 45 minute break between each. 11:00 pm and feature had not appeared yet. The entertainment was ok but the accommodations were very uncomfortable. Maybe ok for a beer slinging crowd in their 20's only.

    Grey Cup concert series

by Ckettle on 2015-11-29RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg - Winnipeg

The concerts were great but the sound was very bad. Usually the sound in the MTS center is very good. I have been to a number of concerts there and the sound for Loverboy was easily the worst. The sound at the convention center is always bad. I never attend concerts there for that reason.

    CFLPA Official Players Party

by pepper081889 on 2015-11-29Club Regent Event Centre - Winnipeg

100% garbage and waste of 76.00. We arrive, its dark, the awards still on as they were delayed with Edmonton players not having arrived on time. When the awards were over, the lights went off and you could see nothing and hardly who was who or what was what. The food was plenty. The drinks were few. Stayed an hour and left. Never again. Complete waste of 76.00. The venue wouldnt let the casino bus back in the barricades to pick up the patrons who already were parking a far distance due to the construction of the building. And as always workers know nothing at all.
