Amazing Stadium - Horrible Game Outcome

by AllKindsOfClay on 2015-10-14Tim Hortons Field - Hamilton

The Stadium is very Hamilton: blue collar with touches of money. Had a great time at the game, unfortunately the visiting team only fielded a portion of the team that was able to compete. As a result the home team prevailed in a rather unpleasant fashion. Not a bad seat in the house. Although there were some in attendance that probably were unaware they could see the game. At one point they began jeering a team that was not even taking part in the contest. But that can be understood, when you realize that no matter who they are playing, Hamilton fans have a deep rooted disdain for the Toronto Argonauts, the winning-est team in league history. My Kids very much enjoyed the pee-pee dance chant the Hamilton fans spout off. I have never fully been able to explain the Oski-Wee-Wee to my kids, but at this point their reference to needing to use the bathroom seem just as logical. All things considered, Saskatchewan sucks this season,

The place is called Tim Horton Field but Tim Horton's is only on the main concourse. The Line at half time took 20 min. They do sell tea and coffee at all food vendors, but at this time of year all vendors should sell hot chocolate and even Tim Bits

    First football game:

by Wilbur23 on 2015-09-14Tim Hortons Field - Hamilton

It was the first game that I had ever attended and it was positive throughout. From the beautiful stadium to the behaviour of fellow fans, my girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The free water refill stations were a very pleasant surprise as well that were greatly appreciated on a very hot day.

Excellent Labour Day Classic, especially because Hamilton won. The new stadium is great, including staff, concessions, and visibility from our section 202 seats.

    New digs

by WB007 on 2014-11-26Tim Hortons Field - Hamilton

Great game in the new stadium. Seats at the 45yd line provided a full view of the entire field. Growing pains as the concessions were slow due to the cash registers not up and running-staff had to use calculators to conduct transactions. Service was slow as the attendant would wait for each individual order. Also the sound system is horrible. Audio sounds like it is underwater, garbled and unclear. People couldn't understand the stadium announcer or referee.
