    Hank III rocked the house

by Digitalboy22 on 2010-06-06The Opera House - Toronto

Blown away!! I have been a fan for a few years now, but this was my first chance to see him live. The energy at this show was amazing and Hank fed off it.

I could not help but get wrapped up in the progressive pace that culminated to absolute frenzy by the last set. Fantastic!

Hank 3 is by far, the best performer to go see !

by cmoncmonyayaya on 2010-06-05The Opera House - Toronto

We have been emailing Hank 3 for 2 years to see when he will finally make it to Toronto.......at last we were ecstatic to get the news that he would be playing the one and only Opera House. The Sold out show was packed to the rafters with quite the diverse audience. This is due to the fact that he is probably the most diverse performer and musician out there. It is eerie to see the resemblace of his grandfather and unbelievable that his roots have stuck with him. There is no 'new country' in Hank's catalogue. We knew that he would go all out and we would get more than our monies worth. He started the 3 hour performance with his country, then a hellbilly set and last but not least his punk/metal set. An unbelievable amount of energy. Hank 3 covered his grand daddy's song "I'll never get out of this world Alive." It was definately a highlight of the night. I would recommend anyone to see Hank 3 live. It is a show that you will never forget. He is a down to earth guy. He took the time after the longgggg and exhausting show to talk to fans and do some signings. I am hoping that now that he sees he has a following here in Toronto that he will continue to keep us on his Tour List. Let's hope it's Massey Hall next time !!!! Mind you, The Opera House was a fantastic place to see him live.
