Hannah Gadsby has been a comedian for more than a decade but it was 2018 when the world took notice when their ground breaking comedy special launched on Netflix and stopped the comedy world in its tracks.
Nanette earned Hannah an Emmy, a Peabody, an Australian Academy Award, and the Most Outstanding Show awards at both the Melbourne Comedy Festival and Edinburgh Fringe. Since then, Hannah did two more solo stand-up comedy shows which toured the world - selling out houses across the USA, Australia and Europe, including the Sydney Opera House, the Royal Festival Hall, the Kennedy Centre, the London Palladium and the Opera House at BAM.
Hannah's second Netflix special, Douglas launched in 2020, and their third, Something Special landed on Netflix May 2023. Douglas was nominated for an Emmy and won an Australian Academy Award as did Something Special.
In 2022, they also managed to publish their New York Times Best Selling memoir, Ten Steps To Nanette in more than ten languages, chatted with the likes of Colbert and Fallon and hosted a gala at the Montreal Just For Laughs comedy festival.
Hannah also co-curated an exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum, taking part in the global celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of Picasso's death featuring works from the Musée Picasso in Paris alongside those from the Brooklyn Museum's Feminist Art Collection.
Hannah's fourth special with Netflix was recorded in 2023 and launched in 2024, recorded in London, the Gender Agenda bought together gender queer comedians from around the world.

The show was great, unfortunately the seating was not. Had a pole directly in my view so i had to lean into the seat next to me just to see. Enjoy the show but the seats sucked.
Hannah’s show was great. Visibility from the upper side balcony was challenging, but that’s the reality of a venue like Massey hall. It’s okay when there’s a full band on stage, but for one person — even a person standing in the middle of the stage — she was frequently out of our eye line. Not her fault, and we could hear everything she was saying and still follow. Not going to dive into the implications of the Rogers outage the day before. Everyone did their best — it is what it is. Thanks for a great show, Hannah.
Hannah was amazing as always, and her opener was HILARIOUS! It was an awesome experience to be able to see Hannah live and she delivered with excellence!
We sat in balcony left and the sound was terrible for this event. All 4 of us struggled to hear and missed punch lines. Will not purchase this area again! 4 stars for Hannah.
It was just amazing i could have just stayed there or anywhere else having nice drinks good food and laughing the night away lesssaning to her stories.
Very inefficient check in system, took 40 min to enter venue, show started late.
Hannah was absolutely brilliant. This was the first time we had the privilege of seeing Hannah live but it won’t be our last!! Thanks for a fabulous evening🌸❤️
I think I laughed so much my jaw muscles hurt. I'm nearly certain half the audience could hear my cackles from the nosebleeds. I love her sharp and dry humour - 100% would buy again lol
She is bloody hilarious! The audience never stopped laughing!
