We purchased floor seats All 5 of us struggled to see the action For the price we paid , we were very disappointed. Hard to hear the show as well!
First the parking is a nightmare there and we had to walk 10 mins to get to the event venue. All the parking left was for the university only. The globetrotters show it’s self was extremely disappointing.. microphones were worn by a player and referee but sound was so distorted you could not make out what was being said. They went on at 8 PM and 8:45 PM they were walking off the court. Our floor seats were $98. Not worth the money spent. Spent more time driving to and from the event than the “ show” it’s self .
We found that there was way too many silly comedy sketches (most of them kids would not get) and not enough basketball. My 8 year old grandson and 12 year old grand daughter would have much rather seen a basketball game that the never ending skits and advertising. PLAY BALL!
The show was awesome and my family all loved it. The venue in the other hand blew it! The big fancy screen didn’t not work. So the things they showed on it Were not visible to anyone on our side. Plus with the place half empty there were still long lines for food because the place only had 2 places open. Disappointing venue
My family loved it. Non stop action from start to finish. They are all such amazing athletes.
We had a great evening of laughs. The players were very entertaining and the tricks were awesome.
I took my grandsons to the game and show. We all had a good time and enjoyed their performance. The team works well together and puts on a fun show.
This was the most disappointing event that i have ever been to. Missed more shots than they made. I do not recommend going. Save your money.
Great family fun for all. They had kids in games, along with adults. We never laughed so hard on our lives. Awesome entertainment!!
My 9-year old grandson was awed by the location, and the performance. He patiently waited in line for 6 autographs, and was delighted by the whole evening. As was I.
I purchases 13 tickets to the game for my whole family. While the family did enjoy the experience over all, I do feel that the costs and discounts that were provided for huge families were disappointing, especially when not all seats were not sold out. Plus since the cost of food and tickets were so high, unfortunately souvenirs of the event were not in the game plan for our large family.
Pre game magic pass had way too many tickets sold so we were unable to really interact with any of the Globetrotters. Just waited in lines up the whole time!
I gave my 12 and 14 year old sons court side seats to their first Harlem Globetrotters game for Christmas. The floor seating was not clearly marked and staff were little help. The show was fun and great to watch but expected more basketball and less "show". The sound system was awful! It was difficult to understand anything that was being said throughout the show. As excited as we were to go and the great seats we purchased it was a bit of a disappointment.
When they were playing basketball and performing it was great, the kids loved it. Way too much video watching and merchandise distractions. To top it off, we couldn’t see the 4th quarter at all because of the crowds of people standing in front of us to line up early for autographs 😣
I attended the game with my three daughters, expecting some ooohs and ahhhs and production value. While there for sure were some amazing long range shots made, the rest of it was tired schtick and drama-less. The best part might have been a video at halftime. Not worth $80, this was a $20 ticket.
I bought the Magic Pass for my son and I prior to the game and this was a great experience for him and I to go on the court and meet some of the players the only drawback is that there were so many people by the time you had lined up top see one player and then lined up to shoot a layup your time was done so you have to know which player you want to see etc before you go. The game itself was good it is choreographed and staged but it was fun to watch. They were very interactive with the crowd.
We thought there was too much pre game entertainment. If I wanted to see children dancing we would have bought tickets for that. I didn’t read anywhere about pre game shows. It seem to take a long time for the team to get on the court. The show ended late and by the time the boys got a few auto graphs it was really late. For the amount of money I paid I would prefer more time with the globe trotters and less other entertainment. The globe trotters are a great team, friendly, supporting, interactive. I would go again.
I had seen the Globe Trotters years ago and remember the show being way better. I though the show was not very good and not worth the money spent. I will not be going again!
Too much scripting, talking, not enough globetrotter basketball! Haven’t seen them in 20 years, had fond memories but was extremely disappointed. It was boring. Too bad. I remember more basketball. Was really surprised
The show was fun to watch for the kids. The only thing was that there were so many pauses where they were asking you for money for charity. I am ok with being asked for charity etc but it was a lot. It seemed that just as things were getting fun and the momentum was going, there was a pause. The messages were pretty heavy and would bring us all down a bit. We felt that there were so many breaks and very little ball playing and tricks. Overall it was fun. The players were all wonderful after during the signing period.
