The experience was great. We had our tickets changed and moved to better seats. The actual entertainment was a bit too choreographed for a sports event. Too much like WWE wrestling. But my son enjoyed it and that’s the important thing.
We brought our grandsons, age 9 and 12 for a birthday adventure gift. Not only were they thrilled with the performance but we also got in line for autographs. Our birthday boy was on crutches from breaking his foot playing badketball. A team representative stepped forward and took bothh boys insde court for individual player photos and autographs. That was so very kind and definetely cemented a memory of both the adventure and the team. We will return to see them again.
I bought 4 tickets to take two grandsons and my son to see what was billed as a great show. What a huge disappointment the Harlem Globetrotters were! Very limited demonstrations of basketball skills, lots of trivial activities with the audience to fill the time, loud brash talking to disguise the poor quality of the show ... It wasn't worth a quarter of what I paid for four tickets!
Very unimpressed. Lots of advertising and talking. Hardly any trick shots and the globetrotters kept missing most of their shots in the game as well. Would not recommend.
It seemed like they were just goofing around too much lots of people were leaving around me who thought the same
Great show. That was the most happy I’ve ever seen my 9 year old and he walked in with no prior interest in basketball never mind knowing who the globetrotters are.
This is the second time we've been in two years. 100% we will go again next year. Laughed like crazy, amazing dunks and dribbling, the works.
Cool event for a family, very centered towards smaller kids but still funny and amusing for all ages
My family loved the Globetrotters!! A true family activity. Will definitely see them again.
Great for kids! 5 year son had the time of his life!
I have always wanted to see the Harlem Globetrotters since I was a kid after seeing their likeness on cartoons (I think it was Scooby Doo perhaps). I finally brought my young children and was severely disappointed. The humor is mean-spirited (lots of fat jokes and insults) and the "good guys" (Globetrotters) cheat and tease their opponents. They constantly argue with the referees and try to trick and demean them (not how I want my kids to view authority figures). I don't know, in today's world this just doesn't seem acceptable anymore. The players are skilled but it wasn't enough to make up for the behaviors and lessons they were teaching. Time to update the show or move on.
I didn't know what to expect but I can safely say everyone had an excellent time. We took our grandkids to the event, they range in age from 16 to 7 and they all had a great time.
Fantastic energy, great basketball and engaging the crowd. Skills are percise, positive attitude, just wanted see more.
Fun show especially for kids. Sound was somewhat muffled, hard to understand what the M. C. / players were saying.
It was entertaining, loads of laughs, totally worth it
I thought I may be an odd ball going with my adult child, but it doesn't matter your age, the humor is designed for all ages - I felt like a big kid again. Loved the show, very entertaining. Brought back a lot of memories, with updated material. The team generally is having a great time and you as an audience member feel their energy and love of the game. I am so happy I went and recommend - take your family, grand children - go make some wonderful memories
We purchased magic pass (pre-game session) as well as game tickets. Magic pass was a fun chance to get autographs and pictures with the team, but that is really all it is. 30 min, hundreds of people in 6 lines. There was no time to do each one. The line we happened to be in the player would not do the ball spin for pictures, he told us to go to another very long line. It could be much better organized, think disney style- where one line should lead you to all the opportunities:autograph, photo, ball spin. Overall the kids got a few pictures which they enjoyed, but likely not worth the price. It is an autograph session that you buy tickets for. The game itself was fun to watch, very rehearsed, but none the less fun. My girls were hoping to see a female player but there was not one this time- too bad. Overall a fun experience, but with a price tag of over $400 for the afternoon - once was enough.
Overpriced for the quality of the game.....not as entertaining as it once was. Kids enjoyed it....wouldn't go again
Took my 11-year old son and his friend. We had a great time. Tons of skill and humour on display. Well worth the price of a ticket.
