  • Back to the 80's

by CatMac on 2022-11-05Club Regent Event Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

What a great time watching both Prism and Harlequin perform. It was our first time at Club Regent and found the venue great. The bands were fantastic and really put on a performance. We will totally go again to the centre as the seats were comfortable, the venue was clean & tidy and the bands were a blast from the past.

Great concert but had drunks behind us that spilt beer and my wife got an elbow after the guy behind us was fighting. I have sent a seperate email amd am waiting on another phone call. Bands were awesome but missed 3 of harlequins songs due to the drunk

Double bill, Harlequin with Prism. Enjoyed both bands and would definitely see them again.

  • Prism was awesome!

    by M. K. on 2022-11-02Club Regent Event Centre - WinnipegRating: 3 out of 5

Prism was the first band before Harlequin and they were awesome and left me wanting more! I hope Prism comes back to Winnipeg again soon. Harlequin was good too but they played a Beatles song and another cover. I wish they had stuck to their own hits as they didn't end up playing a few of their hits because they played covers instead.

  • Two Class Acts

by Gypsy Queen on 2022-11-01Club Regent Event Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

The Harlequin and Prism double bill was amazing! Two class acts who each put on stellar shows. It was wonderful to see the return of the Meet and Greet and to say hello to both bands after their sets. Five stars!

  • Harlequin and Prism

by Beardo on 2022-11-01Club Regent Event Centre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

I loved it as it was a throwback to my youth. So much fun. The performers were amazing and their singing capabilities were still #1. I did find the music on complex songs very distorted and feel that could be room for improvement. Bang for your buck was a 4 out of 5 for me. I had a lot of fun.

  • Fantastic trip down memory lane

by SteveWpg on 2022-11-01Club Regent Event Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

For folks of my age (mid-50s), these were two of the biggest bands of our youth. Seeing them together, in this smaller venue, was amazing. Every song was known the the audience, and a trip back to a high school dance. We even got a little bonus, with Chris Burke-Gaffney (who is now part of Harlequin) playing a couple of songs from his Pumps / Orphan days.

Both bands were very good. Love the venue. However had drunks in front of us that wouldn’t sit down. I do t pay good money to not see the show. If people want to stand they should be directed to the pit. Because they were so drunk a fight almost broke out. Security was very slow to intervene. Then they stood in the aisle blocking everybody’s view behind them until other patrons came down & complained.

  • Memory Lane

by Goldie on 2022-11-01Club Regent Event Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

Each song was spot on! The bonus Pumps/Orphan hit songs boosted the evening to the next level. Sure brought back memories of the Norlander days!

  • Prism/Harlequin

by Unicorn on 2022-11-01Club Regent Event Centre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

Even before the show started I was treated Very well! I was allowed to go to the main level to my seat where the attendant took my walker and gave me a claim tickets. She even gave me a single ticket a few rows down from where I was supposed to be sitting. At the end of the concert she came back to get my ticket and brought my walker directly to me. Excellent service for someone who is disabled! The concert was excellent, however what really bothered me was all the people that were getting up to get alcohol. They were in the way, they were standing on the theatre floor just looking with no regard for anybody around them. The seat that I had was also great – not too far away yet not so close that my eardrums and eyes were bothered. The seats are still a little bit narrow in order to get our big butts into them. 😬

  • Classic Harlequin

Seen them many times. Has never disappointed. Singer George Belanger still has it!

The overall sound quality at this event was the poorest we have ever experienced. Lee Aaron's show was the most painful we have ever sat through, we couldn't wait for it to end, the guitar riffs were like having a cat in a sack, flogging a bag pipe. Harlequin had better sound and at lease you could identify the song, their overall sound quality about a 4 out of 10.

  • Great Fun

by Atee on 2018-04-01Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

Harlequin with Lee Aaron opening was a fun concert to attend. Good classics with a sprinkling of newer songs. Sound was a bit disappointing with muddled over-booming bass. Fortunately, the vocals were clear. Lee Aaron looks and sounds fantastic.

  • Why pay for good seats?

by Anonymous on 2018-04-01Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 3 out of 5

Paid the extra money to get seats near the front only to have people who paid much less for their seats rush up to the front of the stage and block our view. Felt bad for the front row occupants who ended up leaving early because they couldn't enjoy their front row seats. So note to others, don't bother paying extra money for the first couple rows and just buy the cheap tickets and rush the stage when concert starts.

  • Harlequin takes me back!

by Anonymous on 2018-04-01Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

This was a fantastic concert that took me back about 30 years....it appeared it did so for many of the audience members! Lots of "big" hair, jean jackets, head banging and too much to drink. Thanks guys for such a great time

  • Harlequin was awesome

by Ohfor on 2018-04-01Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

I really enjoyed the energy and playfulness of Harlequin. They were great on stage and then took the time to visit with fans. Lee Aaron was good as an opener, but I wasn’t as impressed.

  • Harlequin delivers

by les85 on 2018-04-01Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Harlequin has been around since my high school days but this is the first time I have seen them. From start to finish they were amazing. Very well polished and entertaining. They looked like they were having the time of their lives. Lee Aaron was not to my enjoyment but her fans in the crowd had a good time.
