  • One Hell Of A Show!!!!!

    by L. A. on 2022-06-12Rating: 4 out of 5

Loved every bit of it! The opening was with two Comedians. First lady I loved it, but the other guy was okay… (one review cutted down because of him) But boom 💥 Then my boy comes HASAN MINHAJ! And he nailed it! Loveeeddd it! No cell phones allowed, and the reason was pretty reasonable. I support that! So from my side it was the worthiest show!

  • Amazing, Mindblowing!

This was one of my first live shows and it was absolutely incredible! I was laughing the whole time and even though I was sitting at the very back, I could hear everything very clearly and see what was going on on stage! The opening acts were pretty good they all had a pretty good vibe and when Hasan came it was everything I had hoped for and more! So worth it!

  • Great Show!

The opening acts were so so, you were clearly able to tell Hasan was on another level. I don’t know how that Adderall filled racoon did it, but he kept the entire audience engaged the whole time he was on stage. If you get the chance to perform, definitely take it!

  • If you liked "The Patriot Act"...

    by Michelle R on 2022-06-12Rating: 3 out of 5

...you will be happy once the show gets going. This show was basically a (short) review of those episodes, with a few extras thrown in. He included some sincere pieces that added some context to his Netflix show episodes. His performance seemed short, given it was 11 when two openers started and we were heading home by 12:15. It was not what was expected, but once he got going with his political satire and jabs, it was good. What wasn't good - starting over an hour late. That was not great...

  • Show was great, venue was disorganized

by Nicole on 2021-11-20Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

Wished that rating can be separate between show and site – in this case Hasan Minhaj’s show was great however I removed one star due to the poor organization for Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Our showtime was set for 8:00pm. We arrived 20 minutes early and already saw 2 lineups – 1 going south down the block and 1 going north up the block - and both lines basically met all the way around the other side of the block. At the end of the lineup so many guests were confused as to why there was 2 lines and where to join. Additionally there was no direction or explanation of why guests weren’t being let in. This setup and wait in the lineup (in the rain no less) occurred from basically 7:40-8:40pm until we were finally let in.

  • Awesome show

QE theatre lineups to get in was ridiculous-show was 1.5 hours late, however show was amazing !!!

  • Literally amazing....this man is a surrey man

by mani on 2021-11-18Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

LOVED Everything.....although i think i might be just a tad bit obsessed with him, i knew like three of his main jokes cuz i watch every single one of his interview, so even if the man mentions some topic, I know exactly what he's going to say.....

  • Smart laugh out loud

by Sar on 2021-11-17Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Hassan did not disappoint! His two openers were also very funny.

  • Poorly Organized

by SB on 2021-11-17Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 1 out of 5

Poorly organized! The show started an hour late and everyone had to wait in a line outside in pouring rain through no fault of their own. The audio was poor and could barely hear anything. Given that it was a standup, a soundcheck is the least one could expect.

  • So smart

    by E. K. on 2021-11-17Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Hasan Minhaj was absolutely awesome. I was flipping back and forth between roaring with laughter and being transfixed by moments of real introspection. He engaged with and worked the audience like the total pro he is. 10/10

  • Awesome time

  • Good show but bad sound/ mic

by Sb on 2021-11-17Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

Great content and execution but mic / sound was distorting when he held it too close.

  • Amazing

by Singh on 2021-11-17Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 3 out of 5

The show was absolutely amazing. Funny and relatable. The venue was not so amazing. I feel like knowing you need to get vaccinated id and passes plus tickets will take time, why not employ some people to have the line moving. We stood in like for over an hour and it was downpour rain that day. We all got sick. Our jackets were so soaked they got our clothes wet too. There was not structure as to where the line up begins. People were just merging everywhere. Next time either set up cones so people know where to stand cause it’s not fair that people who came after us just someone merge into the line amd get in before us.

  • The show was great but the rain &the wait time not so great

by NK on 2021-11-17Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

Loved the show, the venue was great. However, the organizers should have made better arrangements keeping with the weather in mind. There were serpentine queues ....and one didnt know where they began or where to join in.

  • Lineup was mishandled

by ferguson on 2021-11-17Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

My wife and I had seen that the there was a significant lineup around 7:25, so we decided to wait in our car until closer to 8 thinking that they would let people in closer to 8. We started making our way to the venue around 7:55 only to find the lineup had wrapped around both ends of the block and it didn't appear to be moving. In addition there were 2 lineups leading to more confusion. There were no signs or staff members directing us anywhere or giving out information so people were stuck asking each other and joining a line with the hope that it lead to the entrance. The performance was scheduled at 8, only by 8:45 did it seem like everyone would be let in. We had only seen a single person checking tickets and another checking for vaccination passes. We had even heard the signal from inside warning that, "The performance will start in 5 minutes". As a result we missed most of the opening act. Very disappointed in how the lineup was handled.

  • Amazing performance

Hasan does not disappoint!! Loved the entire show - so much laughters and a few tears as well. I admire him as a person and as a comedian. Also loved the fact he locked our phones LOL people can't be trusted 😂
