About

Hatsune Miku is a music software developed by Crypton Future Media, INC., which enables anyone to make their computer sing by entering lyrics and melodies. As a massive number of users created music using the software and posted their works on the Internet, Hatsune Miku quickly evolved into a cultural phenomenon. Since then, Hatsune Miku has gained much attention as a character, involved in many fields such as merchandising and live performance as a virtual singer. Now her popularity has spread across the globe.

Yeah there was no hologram, but it was still amazing!

  • It depends

    by fried_egg on 2024-09-22Rating: 4 out of 5

This was my first Hatsune Miku concert, and I didn't find it half bad. Sure, I wasn't expected the screen, but I can't stress enough how much I loved the setlist, and maybe that makes up for it in the long run. It depends, I could definitely see how other people wouldn't like it, but again, it was my first Miku concert. I imagine people who have been to these events before would be mad at this whole thing, but while it was a bit of a letdown for me (and not worth the $1k tickets I got for my brother and Dad), I didn't think it was half bad, the setlist made up for it, at least somewhat.

  • Not perfect but not as bad as expected

The screen was certainly a deterrent that ought to have been communicated to the fans. Crunchyroll was disappointing to say the least. The band was great. Luckily Toronto's stage was fitting for the screen. I would've loved a hologram much more. There should have been signs to remind fans to pick up their VIP bag. I didn't even pick mine up.

  • Miku Miku ooeeoo

Great stuff and honestly the screen was great and meant she was super vibrant the whole time but if you have total control over the graphics please just make the vocaloids bigger so people with farther seats can see them OR have screens in the venue that show a magnified look. It's annoying that unlike other concerts there's no large view for people farther away from the screen.

  • Miku was great, the ppl behind it not so much

The concert itself was amazing, a lil crammed but that’s to be expected for a converted rink. There was so much confusion and unorganization between Crunchyroll and Ticket Master? There was issues over the advertised fact that any exclusive Crunchyroll presales was supposed to get the gift bags and early entry to the venue but that wasn’t the case? And when ticket master was contacted, over a dozen people at the Toronto venue showed when talking to a rep that they said their tickets were “VIP” using the code from crunchy roll and would receive the gift bag. But obviously at the venue we’re told otherwise. Just poor planning and organization from who I can only assume as Crunchyroll😕 loved miku tho and would definitely go again, just anyone organizing NEEDS to get their stuff together before trying to host an event.

  • Loved it, but was a little too short.

Being able to see Miku Expo has always been a dream for me. I was very much pleased with the performance. I only wish it lasted a little longer than an hour and forty minutes.

  • Amazing Experience

by Tintin on 2024-05-20Coca-Cola Coliseum - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

If you’re a fan either hardcore or dabbler, this concert really lives up to the hype. The performances of the characters and the live band were really gun to watch, the crowd was also bursting with enthusiasm and hype. I’ll be sure to get a ticket when Miku returns. 10/10!

  • best concert i've been to!!!

i had an AMAZING time seeing miku!! not only was the setlist amazing, but the band was so into the show and their songs and it really made me happy to see such a lively crowd! the only downside would be the LED screen, but it honestly looked really good! hope to see you again in canada miku!!!!

  • Tv!

by Beebs on 2024-05-20Coca-Cola Coliseum - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Was great, would of been 5 stars if they used the hologram instead of a flatscreen tv.

  • It was so gooood

So a lot of ppl said it wasn’t gonna be good, bc it wasn’t going to be an actual hologram and it was just a projector, but it was amazing!!! The choice for the black bg for most of it was great for immersion!! Also the band was incredible !!!!! The guitarist had me swooning !!! And a bonus was the fact that the entire show was exactly on time!! Aside from the actual show, staff were incredibly helpful and kind to me and my friend when we were entering or looking for washrooms, so that also made the experience even better!! So so so so happy I went to this concert and hope that future events like this will happen!!!
