30 years and they haven't changed a bit. Amazing show as always.
Hugh Dillon is my idol for decades!Love them & Hugh gave me a photo opp during show. Been a fan for 20 years! Problem with venue coat check was expensive and didn't say anywhere to be prepared for it. They SHOULD say something. But great stage & awsome security i felt safe there. Just wish there was a smoking section outside lol go see headstones
Opening band was great! Headstones were honestly way too loud. Couldn’t understand the words because the band overrode him. It was assaulting on the ears. How didn’t the sound guy notice that? Disappointed overall.
I went to see The Headstones. This MUST have been my 4th or 5th time, and it felt like the first. My ass was kicked up, down and all around. These men are shining examples of what rock and roll is about! My girl, enjoyed it ALMOST as much.... And she is new to this. Glad to be an old hand, for good times. Thank you, come again
Ok starting with all the electronic ticket sales, downloading, and transfering to phones, for an old guy,it went remarkably smooth and easy. Parking ,right across the street, super easy, Access to the inside theater smooth and quick, grabbed a few beers got to the seats, not a bad seat in the house. Fantastic venue for concerts, comedy ect This was my first time in the old walker theater -The Burt, Definitely not my last, i will be coming back real soon, oh and really cool helpful staff, no dick heads here, all great Thanks for a great night of live rock, soooooo much , very needed
The old Burt is a cool theater; however, the wooden seats are a little tight. Great staff at the show and a decent turn out. Played a lot of the goodies. Happy to hear Oh My God! Would have been nice to hear Cut. Band is still a big favorite. Hugh is a Canadian God. Thanks to all at the show.
Was a 10 out of 10 show, excellent ...and Arcana Kings were amazing
It was a great show. Delivered exactly what was promised, an high energy rock show of great music. I was really impressed that the Hugh Dillion paused the show to acknowledge a 7 year old kid in the audience. Then he proceeded to give the kid a harmonica while making sure someone didn't take it from him. Then from there the band worked the audience with a high energy montage of both original and covered music. Even I got to get a selfie with Hugh in the second leve balcony. His photo was great, mine sucked. But a keepsake. Music was awesome, well played, tight and the sound engulfed the venue. As the band gave to the audience, the audience gave back. It was a night of rock and roll heaven. Hence, awesome.
The show was amazing. I mean, the first band wasn't the greatest but Headstones killed it!
What can one say. Very few shows come through town that have straight up on your face Rock. I see lots of concerts but none of them have delivered quite Like Hugh did. Best concert in Winnipeg this year !!
The venue was amazing right off the hop. Can quickly get a drink and washroom. The Arcana Kings were so excellent!! Super good band and amazing stage show. That energy! I love the headstones music but his stageshow was weird. He was never on the stage! He was all over the venue with some guy on stage holding his mike wire and picking up his cups and mike stand that he kept throwing around. We hardly saw him because everyone was standing up trying to see him. Bit disappointed
Favourite band; love that Hugh walks the crowd, interacts with the audience; goes out of his way when he sees a young person to make the experience one of a lifetime; keeps the fan base growing, one generation at a time!
Warm up ban Arcane Fire was great high energy great vocals and guitar work + bagpipes really enjoyed. The main act the HEADSTONES were probably good but you could not hear anything but noise Did they have a sound man did he die with his hand on the master volume ? Hugh did his job as front man very well and got the crowd whipped up but you could not hear him for the sonic mess..
High energy rockin show. The headstones really delivered can’t stop the tunes from playing in my head days later. Dillon is a great frontman. Loved the Arcana Kings too.
First and foremost I've only ever heard the old hits pre 2000's and I didn't know a whole lot going into the show so I can't take any stars off for that. There was a lot of raw energy from the get go and Hugh was quick to jump into the crowd and be swamped by fans. The fan interaction was frequent; the energy was high and the music was great. It did take a song or two to dial in the sound but I found it pretty good after that. Always glad to see and support some good Canadian talent. I kept thinking I was watching John Bush up there instead of Hugh Dillon; the appearance and vocals were strikingly similar to my senses. Get out there and support the Headstones!
It was wild and fun! So glad I got the tickets. Watching Hugh climb into the audience will be a cherished memory forever.
Flight Risk tour (2022). Very high energy and intense performance. Hugh Dillon literally walked right into the crowd (a few times) and played the harmonica standing on my seat! Amazing. The band sounded great and the set was a good mix of new material and old favourites.
Sound was awesome and music is what I expected. Hugh Dillion and the band performed excellently. Will see them again when they return to Thunder Bay.😎🤘🏼
Best show I’ve ever seen at the TBCA. The Headstones brought some serious intensity and high standards.
