Wintersleep is great live - made me love their albums even more! We saw them in the summer at the Interstellar Rodeo show here in Winnipeg and they killed it at the outdoor concert. Even with a smaller indoor venue they went above and beyond - 5 out of 5. The venue changed last minute unfortunately and I think this band could have used a bigger venue with seating.
Wintersleep best Canadian band...nuff said. The night was a trip.
Elliott Brood were seriously awesome, had the place jumping and singing along. I'm glad bad luck on the road didn't stop them from getting to Vancouver. In comparison Wintersleep was boring and generic and their songs meandered around no where. The previously full Commodore emptied out by the time Wintersleep waded through half a dozen songs. I have no idea why they opened for Wintersleep instead of headlined???
Wintersleep put on a great show but I was really disappointed that Elliot Brood didn't make it. I was looking forward to Elliot Brood just as much, if not more than Wintersleep. So sad they didn't make it. Sorry to hear they got their gear stolen and their van broke down. Bad luck all around! :(
Elliot Brood cancelled at the last minute, which is all I was there to see. I got my money back, but minus all of the fees Ticketmaster charges of course.
overall a pretty good show. elliott brood started off and was a bit loud for the venue which may have been because he was yelling parts of the songs at points? i was a tad disappointed with their performance and his (marks) lack of talking / involving the crowd. i may have a negative view of elliott broods show as my chat with him off stage was a tad rude. in the end wintersleep was great! the lights were pretty fabulous for a little venue like the pyramid and they all gave a very entertaining, toe tapping, fun performance. i would see wintersleep again!

Wintersleep is a great band, they rocked out...I love Black Camera. Ra Ra Riot, the middle act of the night, was also really really good. They will be a headliner soon.
