High School Musical Summer Celebration was very entertaining! They had very good interaction with the crowd and played all the best songs from the three movies! Would definitely go see it again!
the show was enjoyable. It was high energy and they sang and danced to all the popular songs. The interaction with the kids in the crowd was great (even though my daughter was disappointed she wasn't picked to dance with "Troy") My only disappointment was that wasn't much dialogue between the major characters (Troy & Gabriella also Sharpay & Ryan) even if it was only just to set up the upcoming song. Regardless, it had my daughter singing and dancing in the aisles.
HSM summer celebration was fabulous!! There was nothing more enjoyable than watching 5 six year old girls singing and dancing to there favorite songs. Even I started to sing!
My 7 year old granddaughter and her friend enjoyed it greatly. THey sang along with the actors and interacted with the lead. The music was wonderful. I was not familiar with the story or the movies but I did enjoy the music, singing and the dancing was super. A great show.
I took my niece and nephew and they enjoyed it a lot.
The overall show was great.. really got the audience involved... was a bit disappointed they weren't REALLY singing the songs.. however the lead for Troy had the dancing and even all his mannerisms down to a science.. there was thirteen of us that went, taking all our little girls and it was a great day all around
High School Musical Summer Celebration was amazing. My daughter had the time of her life. The cast ,the costumes, the music and most of all the dancing was awesome. I loved how the audience was incorporated into the show. We couldn't believe how much the characters actually looked like the original cast especially Troy and Sharpay. Well done. I would definately recommend this to everybody and if this show returns we will probably go again.
I took my 20 year old mentally challenged son to see the show. He has watched all 3 of the movies over and over and over. When the performance began he immediately jumped to his feet and began to sing and dance with the cast. They sang all his favourite songs and he really enjoyed the show tremendously!!! They had a lot of audience participation and that was very special. The young performers are amazing dancers and they really looked like they love what they were doing. We think they were AWESOME!!!! If the show was to come back again, we would definitely go again. Great job to all the cast!!!!
The kids had a good time, sang along and danced in their seats. I am not sure whether or not the cast was actually singing or just lip syncing to the actual soundtrack but their dance moves were right on. Interesting to see that the specialty items for sale mostly said High School Musical on Ice! But the kids could have cared less and so I bought them anyway! Overall, it was a fun afternoon out with lots of kids with smiling faces!
We really enjoyed the show. My kids didnt know they lipsincked so they were truly amazed. The dancing was great and true to the movies. Overall great performance.
I thought it was a great show for the kids. They got to sing and dance to there favourite songs from high school musical even I got it into it lol. If they came back i would take her back to see it.
We all enjoyed the music, dancing and personal interaction during this Summer Celebration!!...even "the dad"! The cast members seemed extremely excited themselves and worked to keep the audience involved and very entertained. Short, but well worth it!!
It was an amaizing show, my daughter was up singing and dancing throughout the show!!
This show has no story line.All they do is have Kelsey (who at the beggining states that she gets to play the character Kelsey...so great for little kids who should think it is really Kelsey).So Kelsey talks about the movies constantly and does trivia.Then she introduces a song and the "dancers" come out and dance to the music while they lip sing.Pretty sure they were lip singing to the original soundtrack of the movies.There was no story line what so ever just dancers dancing to the music and pretending to sing with fake mics. The dancers were good, a couple looked way too old to be playing teenagers,but they were good just the show itself isn't what I thought it was going to be.I thought there would be a storyline and actual singers.
My granddaughter and I went to see the musical and we both loved it. The dancing and music were everything we could have asked for. I have a very satisfied 7 year old.
My girls absolutely loved this presentation of High School Musical - Summer Celebration. The songs were just like in the movies and the performers were spot on their characters. I would definitely recommend this to other parents of HSM fanatics!
If you enjoy all three HSM movies and love all the songs then HSM SUMMER CELEBRATION is for you!!! Every hit song is performed actually like inthe movies, the actors are amazing, every dance move precise. This performance is very interactive with the audience, encouraging singing and dancing. Kids of all ages will enjoy this performance as well as the adults. You will leave feeling happy and wanting more, so you end up watching the movies again!! HSM SUMMER CELEBRATION AWESOME!!!!!
I took my grand daughter to see the High School Musical Summer Celebration show since she has seen all three movies and absolutely loved them. The show exceeded my expectations and the show was non-stop singing and tonnes of fun. We truly enjoyed ourselves and would even go again!
The show as a whole was great! Gariella and Troy were wonderful and really made you believe they were the actors in the movie. What a match for Troy, he really looks like Zac. Sharpey is another story! Although some of the supporting characters did not look excatly like their movie counter parts, Sharpey was sooo off! Sharpey was a times scarey looking wtih her over the top facial expressions, very ungraceful dancing and terrible lip singing!!!! Could they not get a better actress to play this role!!! My daughter enjooyed the show as did I.
The performance was great. Lots of songs from the movies so the girls 2-8 year olds really liked it. The audience interaction was a wonderful idea as well.
