It was a great show but should have been advertised more for kids.
The show was great but there’s definitely room for improvement. We sat in Sec/127 row 1 which is directly in front of the stage 1st row off the floor. Some parts of the show were a lil hard to see. Anyone sitting on the floor in the back row would definitely have had a difficult time. The only time we were able to see the bmx/scooter/rollerblade act was when they reached the top of the ramp & whenever the elf took the show to the floor we were unable to see properly! We sat in the exact same seats for Cirque De Soleil and seemed to have a much better view of everything as everything took place on stage. There were a few times during the show that seemed like it either needed more going on or…the act ls themselves needed to a lil shorter. Lastly, my granddaughter was upset that there were no souvenirs for sale. I was actually pretty shocked that there were no souvenirs for to buy as a lil keepsake, like lil elf hats or necklaces that light up, badges, silly Xmas themed t-shirts etc…with Holiday Dreams logo on them. Other than that we had a fabulous time. The performers were amazing, they were fun, silly and definitely masters of their craft! The contortionist was spectacular, the acrobats were fabulous and the trampoline show is always our favorite! We do look forward to seeing the show next year.
This was sub par as far as Cirque goes. Scooters? Roller blades? A lip syncing diva? Disappointing, too expensive for the events, and most of the view was blocked because the floor seats weren’t staggered.
Disappointed, low budget - stage was very small, performers were average and flow of the show was very choppy.
A couple of the acts were very good (aerial act, trampoline, and the male gymnast), but the overall production was lesser quality than expected. Also very short, probably because it was geared toward young families. If you have ever seen a Cirque du Soleil production, this was nowhere close to the quality and professionalism.
The show was ok but it was very short and not very professional. The flow was not very good. It would have been better with a story that continued for continuity between acts.
Show was okay. Some talented performers but was expecting more for the ticket price.
So unlike an adventure into the talent and perfection that Cirque is famous for. This non extravaganza was weak. Lacked timing. Not up to the Cirque Troupe standard. Disappointing. I would have to rethink spending $$$$ to attend another Cirque venue.
Was expecting the typical Cirque experience with the flying trapeze and other high rise acts. Was disappointed to find none of that in this show.
Because it was a one night only show, a pared down version of a regular show is to be expected. However, it was pared down a bit too much and moved a bit slowly at times. The ramps with the bikes/blades/scooter was under whelming.
It was okay but not nearly as good as other Cirque shows I’ve seen
No comparison to cirque du Soleil. You will be disappointed if you have seen a cirque du Soleil show. This is 100% a kids show. My bad for not doing more research on this show. We left after first half. Kids looked like they were having fun.
Disappointed, my 5th grade class could have done a better job. We’d have to hire a contortionist and someone to work the lighting, nothing more than a two bit show.
We were expecting something more grande. This show is advertised as being “spectacular”’, it is not. Nothing holiday about it. A few elves on a trampoline, some bad jokes, and a few very bendy acrobats. All independent performers, except for the BMX skit that you could probably watch at your near by skating park for free. Way over priced!!
Wasnt sure what to expect could have been better though definately not your bang for your buck experience. Pretty much just got a few random acts the music was a little much, Didnt understand the theme .could have seen this show at a fair or smaller venue.
Highly recommend going to see this show. The performers were excellent and are incredible and amazing entertainers. Will definitely be going again next year. Thanks for coming to Winnipeg, Manitoba ! Merry Christmas !
Very disappointing. Almost no arials. Only one laser light act which was a little weird. Some talented people but show needs work.
We were sitting in section Q on the side and could not see the last two numbers at all. Usually there is not a bad seat in the house, but we had bad seats. As for the performances they weren’t spectacular. OK would be the best rating I could give them.
We enjoyed the performances. I didn't know what to expect but there was some fantastic performers. My grandaughter is 9 almost 10 and I thought she was a great age to appreciate the talent. Thank you.
Small cast, there was some really great talent jam packed onto an extremely tiny stage. There were a few accidents, first one right off the get-go, and could have been from getting used to the small stage size? Regardless, they put on a pretty good show. Not as blown away as a regular cirque du soleil, and didn't seem to follow much of a really story rather than an elf's dream to put on his own act. Would have liked to see more of a story with villains, struggle, and more eccentric costumes like one would normally see in a cirque du soleil. But the talent was there, my favorite being the contortionist. She deserved to be in a bigger, high quality show with her skill level something I have never seen before. Christmas much was pretty much what I expected, but then became repetitive as the same music replayed for acts in the second half. Overall, I wouldn't spend money to see again but was a great alternative to the same usually Christmas activities we normally go to at this time of year.
