Honeymoon Suite sounds as great as ever! It was so fun to pretend to be young again and bellow out all the old hits we grew up with:)
Sound seemed to be a huge issue for 2/3 of the show. Backup Vocals during Aldo Nova were impossible to hear and instruments seemed to take over. Same for HMS tho to a lesser extent.
I love concerts at the Grey Eagle. It is a small venue where everything feels up close and personal. Honeymoon suite was awesome -so fun to revisit the 80s music.
Manuel hats brought a great energy to the concert. They started with the safety dance and ended again with the safety dance. Crowd was into it. Then Aldo Nova came on. They should probably retire. It was terrible. Honey and sweet came on and brought the energy right back. They did fantastic.
The band exuded energy and played most of the fan favourites. Major kudos to lead guitarist and keyboardist! Top shelf all around. Minor beefs: the sound could have been better - feedback was clearly heard sporadically. Also, finding seats was a challenge based on the layout of the floor seats. Overall, a great show.
What a great evening The bands were great The sound was amazing Tremendous value Highly recommend
Men without hats were amazing!!!! Sounded the same as 20 years ago!!! Best part of the show.
All the bands were fantastic!!! The balance on the sound was horrible for the first band especially. The instruments totally drowned out the vocals and overall volume was far too high for The Spoons. The other bands had a much better balance and volume.
People were still rolling in in droves after 8:30 the bands seemed to have numerous technical difficulties. Honeymoon Suite was boring most of the act was solo's killing time so band members could take breaks. They seemed to have no energy. The spoons were good. Men without hats would have been good if not for the 10 minute technical issue in the middle of the concert. Overall very dissapointing.
Spoons, men without hats and honeymoon suite were great...Aldo nova, not so much...very, very disappointed the flick of seagulls did not perform!!! Aldo nova was NOT a good replacement
Overall a great experience. Would be better if the sound system could handle the volume. Distortion was a problem, particularly during loudest parts. Until the equipment is upgraded, would benefit from turning down the volume a little.
Concert was fantastic. Honeymoon Suite sounded just as great as they were back in the day. Energetic and truly fun and enjoyable
The replacement band for Flock of Seagulls was terrible. What a disappointment.
The experience was great!! I felt all the bands were awesome except for Aldo Nova. I realize there was some technical issues at the beginning, however I was not impressed by them at all...I felt they were off. I am assuming it's because they were a full in last minute, and not have been prepared
The venue is brand new and not a bad seat in the house. The Spoons killed their performance. Men without Hats was amazing and very engaging. They rocked the house đ©· Honeymoon Suite ended the show , very fitting since itâs their home town⊠then there was Aldo Nova.. well lacklustre yo be kind, he could barely speak let alone sing , and please wear a shirt next time , you can still play a mean guitar. But the singing ! Ugh.. overall great night .. wish AFOS was there
Great show great music from the 80s had a fantastic time!
My first time, hopefully not my last. Amazing. What a night! Kudos to HS
It was a great night. Honeymoon Suite, The Spoons and Men without Hats all sounded spectacular.
They were great. The music was awesome. Everybody was rocking in their chairs, would love to see them again.
The Spoons and Honeymoon Suite rocked! Love the venue. Been there a few times before. Will always go to see shows at the OLG stage. Canât wait to see my next show there.
