Huey Lewis and the News Tickets

Was great then and is still great today!!! Would recommend Huey Lewis and the News to everyone that loves music. Only downfall, it was too short.

It was a group that I always wanted to go and see and I finally got my chance. They were fabulous. I would go and see them again.

Huey Lewis and the News has always been one of my favorite groups, so I knew that I would enjoy the concert. But my husband was very pleasantly surprised at how many of the sangs he knew and what a great time he had! They have a way of while playing the great Oldies, they don't appear like Oldies...and I think they enjoyed themselves as much as the audience did!

Excellent show! Huey did a fantastic show and related to the crowd. Only downfall was that at times the music drowned out his singing. On the whole I recommend !

My first time at the Avalon Ballroom and thought the venue was very nice. Not too big so you are up close enough to appreciate the artist. We were on the floor about 3/4 from the stage. Huey was in his glory. I've admired his music for some time but I don't think he will be touring again after this round, was evident he can't drive to some of those notes any more but hey he was good none the less. I would say a 3.5 star out of 5.

Huey Lewis and the News is still the best "bar band" I've ever seen! I'm 33 yrs old and while many of my friends enjoy the big fluffy concerts, I have and always will drop everything and run to a Huey Lewis concert. It was my actual birthday that evening and there was no other way I'd rather spend it then listening to the sweet sounds of Huey and his band. He has soul, style, class and above all he is still so handsome! The venue is great to see a concert although the crowd that follows huey is either retired or near it so most of them want to just sit still. However this time around there were some enthusiastic fans around me which allowed me to really enjoy the show and dance the night away while enjoying his music. With so many hits to choose from it was hard to cover all of them in such a short time frame (concert was only 1 1/2 hrs including encores) but when the bass started pumping like a heartbeat The Heart of Rock N' Roll started the show with passion and we couldn't wait for more! Hit after hit and even some new accapella arrangements to slow things down at times. I can't wait until he returns again in the near future.

Interaction with the crowd and the sound was just as if you were listenting to your Ipod. I would see them again in a heartbeat!

Second time we have seen Huey and the boys, and they delivered once again. The venue is excellent for being close to the stage, and they put on a high energy show with all of their hits, and some new stuff as well.

what can i say, i've seen huey in outdoor venues, indoor venues, and the avalon ballroom now twice, by far this is the best way to see a concert!!

Super entertainers. They played the past hits and a few good new songs in the 90 minutes or so. Forgot how many hits Huey and the News had in the 80's. All night, ya say, I remember that song.

We had seen Huey 3 times before but never at The Avalon at the Fallsview. It is a great venue and we had terrific seats. The concert was just great, high energy, upbeat, never a dull moment. He and his band are great performers and we won't hesitate to go again!

Huey can still belt it out. The voice is still there. And the sax. The band is exceptional. Played the hits that we came to see and hear. The young lead guitar player was incredible and was introduced with a surname that was not Lewis but we think he is Huey's son. Yes? Nice intimate theatre.

Huey is starting to show his age but hey, aren't we all? On Thursday June 11th Huey Lewis and the News played to a sold out crowd at the Avalon Ballroom in Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort. This was my 12th Huey concert and although not my personal favourite, still worth the price of admission. The band was tight, Huey sounded great (for the most part) and the crowd seemed to realy enjoy the show. As we all are, Huey's begin to age and his voice seemed pitchy in places. In others, you close your eyes and its 1985 all over again. The band played a fair number of lessor known and cover songs which I found upsetting. With such a wide selection of hits to choose from, why not pack in as many as you can and send the crowd home happier? All the mega-hits were there as well as a catchy reworked version of "Do You Believe In Love". No Jacob's Ladder, no Walking on a Thin Line or Hip to be Square. Great show, great theatre just wanted more of the hits. I'd definitely go back and see him again.

The show was very good. I hadn't seen HLN in 20 years so it was great to renew with what I like. Even if the original band isn't together anymore, they still put on a great show. My 2 little disappointments: The show was too short (1H15 min.) Huey is a little impersonal with the audience. Other than that I would go back to see them.

Huey Lewis and the News were truly spectacular!!!!! Took us back by sounding exactly as they did in our youth! Couldn't stop smiling and rocking for the whole show. We've wanted to see them for years and could never catch them on tour. The drive to Niagara was worth it and the venue is great.

HUEY WAS AMAZING. EVERY SONG SOUNDED JUST LIKE THEIR CD'S. THE SEATING IN THE AVALON WAS SECOND TO NONE. THE LIGHTING AND ACOUSTICS WERE DEAD ON .I WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMEND GOING TO A CONCERT AT THE CASINO.

The show was amazing. I wanted to be on my feet the entire time but security wouldn't us. They all had so much energy but my only caution would be that the show was way to short for the price. They only played for an hour an a half. If I had known the length I probably would not have paid that much.

This is the 3rd time I've seen Huey in the last few years.. I take a special lady with me... She has Downs Syndrome.. and is a HUGE HUEY FAN Huey still sounds great and looks great... puts on a great show.. gets everyone Rockin! This time around.. one of the fellows who works backstage helped me out so my special friend could actually meet HUEY before the show.. we got to go backstage.. everyone was soooooooooooo nice... Huey came out.. and gave her some hugs.. and let her have 2 pics taken with him... She was ecstatic! Thanks Huey.. You're the Best!

Well, I had missed Huey's Casino Rama concert a few yrs ago because of a bad winter storm. But last nights concert was totally worth the wait! This guy did not stop moving all over the stage. I felt I was watching the 1hr 30 min workout...lol Huey is in amazing shape for his age. There was enough energy on stage that this concert could have lit the entire Niagara Falls area and then some...lol My 2 fav songs that Huey played were Power of Love and I want A New Drug. But I guess Heart Of Rock & Roll is a fav too. But then again.. his entire set list was totally amazing! They played a new song and it went over really well. Sort of a bluesy number. I will be wanting to see Huey again if he comes back to Ontario, Canada! By the way.. my seats... were front row to the right of centre! AMAZING !!!

Was a memorable moment back in time for me and my wife!! We started dating 27 years ago when she was 15, fell in love and well 3 children later, married 20 years and listening to Huey and the boys made us feel younger then we ever have! Always been fans of them, listened to them while dating and just enjoying the era. Thankyou for our memorable moments, and help us recreate all new ones for our 20th anniversary!! Was such a wonderful evening.
