Too loud, too hot and stuffy, too many people coming in and crawling all over you once show started. Except for emergency (illness) exits during the show no one should be allowed to enter. Il Divo whom I love needs to sing more an talk less. Overall rather a disappointing experience.....not sure if I would come again both to Il Divo and the Jube itself. Thank you for the opportunity to express my opinion.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Il Divo never fails to amaze their fans!!!
by Johnny60 on 2014-04-14Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverI bought the tickets for my wife!!! She reports that "her boys" were absolutely amazing and this was her third Il Divo concert!!! All four of them have this ability to connect with each member of the audience. During the performance you can tell that Carlos, David, Urs and Sebastien really enjoy what they are doing.

Rating: 3 out of 5 Good show drowned by effects!
by Largolass on 2014-04-13Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverThe show was certainly a spectacle but there were times when it was more about the lighting than the singers! It was as if the show had been designed for a far larger venue than the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. A big lighting rig coupled with big sound did nothing to help the 5 artistes on stage. At times it was even difficult to see the singers faces which, with such a big rig, is inexcusable! The orchestra was far too loud and the reverb on some of the songs distorted the words beyond recognition. Lea Salonga, was as wonderful as ever, but her song from Wicked was massacred by the extremely unnecessary echo and volume attached to it. It was literally painful to listen to! Il Divo were in fine voice but again the mics were too loud that one almost dreaded the high or sustained notes for fear of suffering GBH of the ears!! Thank goodness for the MD because the conductor appeared to be nothing more than a stick waver, who I doubt the orchestra ever watched! However It was definitely a SHOW & the audience loved it!
Rating: 5 out of 5 Incredible!

Rating: 5 out of 5 Il Divo
by eney67 on 2014-04-13Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverAs always Il Divo gave an outstanding performance. I did feel the stage was a little cluttered and a simple black and white platform would have given a better view of the men. The backdrop, lighting, smoke, orchestra on stage, was somewhat distracting and very busy!! But the performance was thriling!!
Rating: 5 out of 5 Awesome!!!!
by Anonymous on 2014-04-13Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverWe have been to every concert that Il Divo has done here in Vancouver. Normally the shows are at Roger's Arena. Being at the Queen Elizabeth was by far the best venue for Il Divo - the sound was perfect!!! We absolutely love seeing these four "Stud Muffins" and look forward to future shows.

Rating: 4 out of 5 Oh, yeah, the boys can sing!
by docondroc on 2014-04-13Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverGreat singing of terrific arrangements of Broadway musicals, so all the songs were familiar. Our first time seeing Il Divo and we weren't disappointed. In addition to great singing, they were at ease with the audience who were loudly in awe of the four men on stage. Guest singer Lea Salonga was terrific too, and the stage presentation was very well done, all enhancing a wonderful evening. Two small complaints: the drummer's snare was far too loud, sounding like a very un-musical BANG all the way through. And, when the 20-piece orchestra was in full crescendo, the singers were drowned out.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Unbelievable voices
by LittleG40 on 2014-04-13Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverI tagged along as my mom's guest thinking it is a night out even if I don't know these guys at all. The songs were familiar, their voices were magical and they were cute and funny to boot! Also entertaining was the star struck older ladies in the first row!
Rating: 5 out of 5by Anonymous on 2014-04-13Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver Il Divo did not disappoint. They were amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening out.
Rating: 3 out of 5 Sound system horrible
by joseS on 2014-04-13Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverSound system producing muffled sounds. Sometimes the singers cant be heard above the orchestra music. The voice is not clearly heard although Leah Salonga's voice was soaring above the orchestra's music.
Rating: 3 out of 5 ABOVE AVERAGE - NICE NIGHT
by Candy3 on 2013-11-10Marquis Theatre - New YorkWell Done. Typical Il DIVO.. Guest Singer was only average. Not all members attempted to blend but chose to showcase and overpower others which doesn't always work in a group. Overall very well done and worth seeing.
