Il Divo, the internationally renowned classical crossover quartet, were formed in the U.K. by television personality and veteran record executive Simon Cowell in 2004. The original lineup reflected the group’s boundless inspirations and universal appeal, with each member hailing from a different country: tenor David Miller from the United States, tenor Urs Bühler from Switzerland, baritone Sébastien Izambard from France, and the late baritone Carlos Marín from Spain. Starting with their 2004 self-titled debut album, Il Divo have released five Top 10 albums and sold over 30 million records worldwide. 2005’s Ancora became Il Divo’s first No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and their 2009 world tour earned the group the Billboard Breakthrough Award for making Billboard Boxscore’s top tour recap for the first time in their career. Over two decades, the quartet have experimented with a blend of opera and pop, reinventing standards from Motown to Christmas classics and collaborating with Celine Dion, Toni Braxton, Leona Lewis, and more. Following the loss of Marín in December 2021, in 2023, American baritone Steven LaBrie became a full-time member.

Il Divo headed out on the A New Day Holiday Tour in late 2023. The tour covered much of the U.S. through the end of December.

Edmontonians flocked to hear the quartet, and they did not disappoint. However, their amazing voices were often drowned out by the poorly controlled or badly mixed audio. At times I had to plug my ears, and then the sound getting through to my ears was very close to perfect.
the concert was good...the only thing was i was surprised that they did not have a bigger screen for those who were up in the second level...it was very hard to see as it was blocked by the time/goal box..
Exceptional performance by the four lads. The centre is a perfect venue to get up close and personal with the performers. Sang all their favs and introduced a few songs I loved but hadn't heard before. Can't wait til next time.....
This is the trhid time I have seen Il Divo and they certainly do not disappoint. They are gorgeous to look at and of course they sing very well too. If I had one complaint it would be the way the video screen was used. I would have been much happier if the screen was used consistently to feature the group as they sang instead of the videos they played.
I had never seen Il Divo before and I was so impressed, I would definitely go the next time they are in town. What amazing voices! And my seats were fantastic, on the floor. With the way the stage was set up it was like I had front row seats.
Soloists sang well! When all four sang, the sound system overloaded. The performance felt like it was squeezed out of a tube. Flat. No sincerity, no emotion. Drawn out. Boring. No excitement.
Il Divo came to perform and they certainly did. They were in great form and just got better as the evening progressed. The blending of their voices sent chills throughout the entire audience. It was quite obvious that the audience loved the songs and the performance. I would love to see them again!
The concert was one of the best shows in a long time. The guys are amazing singers, very very stylish dressers, and very nice to look at. Hope to see them again very soon.
This was an unforgettable performance by a group of world class entertainers. It's unfortunate that the venue chosen didn't match the music.
II divo is magic to the ears...it gives me a feeling of utter enjoyment and pleasure. These four men could come sing lullabyes in my dreams and I would be a satisfied lady. thanks men you rock this world
I've seen them twice now when they came to my City. Had decent seats both times so was able to fully appreciate the shows. Being a fan of all genres of music, including opera, the "popera" style they deliver is right up my alley. For anyone who hasn't seen them, I'd recommend for a great evening of entertainment. The tickets are getting pricier as their popularity increases so I will probably wait a few years before going again. I have two of their CD's to sustain me if I need an Il Divo fix.
I thought the sound for this show was poor, and I don't know if that was the fault of Rexall or the group themselves. I saw them last year at Rexall, and I think they did a much better performance. They weren't as interactive with the crowd this time around. Overall, it was average, I really like them, so I would still see them again or recommend them.
These guys can sing!. My friend and I attended more to please our wives, but we ended enjoying the show a lot. I am a musician and always afraid of attending to pop-classic events, because they often fall short in both areas, but not this one. These guys have very well educated voices plus nice arrangements and a band of 15 musicians or so. Lights and stage handling was also very good.
How can you go wrong with a concert like this. These guys have amazing voices and its almost all you need, add there stage presence, and just the magic of the show and there you go you have an amazing night, an evening with il divo was great and I would 100% do it again, and probly will if they come here again!!

It was the first time that I had the opportunity to see Il Divo. Beside being the most GORGEOUS MEN they sang wonderful. They were entertaining...as I didn't have to look at my watch once. The backdrop was great....especially the women on their name it made you wonder -- REAL or AMAGINARY. I went with my husband and to my amazement he enjoyed there performance also. The venue was perfect for them. We had great seats...which me very happy.

I wasn't sure about what kind of performance that Il Divo would put on, but that was quickly replaced by AWE!!!! Stunning vocals, great stage presence came to mind while listening and watching these talented young men!
