    India IAie-Renewal and Strength

by Rowena on 2009-07-11Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

This was my third time to see India Irie in concert and like all the others, it was transforming, inspiring and a pure joy to be a part of this experience. Her story and journey resonates with so many individuals whether her songs are about the injustices of the world or relationships that have helped her grow, we can all find ourselves in these songs. Like a butterfly, we all go through experiences that help to shape who we are and who we will become. I left that day a renewed spirit and more appreciative of the struggles that in many ways refine my character and strengthen my soul.

    Danced with India

by brownskin on 2009-07-11Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

Great concert. You can see the progression in her music. It also reflects where she is in her life, which is always a positive space regardless of the circumstances. Everyone strives for cool but she models it.

    india arie just OK

by Blox on 2009-07-11Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

sound was off kilter from the start to the finish. changed mikes but only diluted the problem... isn't that what sound check is for before the show? she kept plugging her current CD the whole show long, seemed desperate and took away from momentum. I saw her show years ago and much better performance then. this seemed low budget and unrehearsed. India is sooo talented and capable of better.

    India Delivered!

by MickG on 2009-07-11Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

India Aire is a fabulously original artist with a soulful flair and ability to bring her audience to a point of startling intimacy. She is energetic yet soothing all the while allowing you insight into who she is as a person. After her show, you feel as if you have read her diary and you come away with an air of blissful positivity. I have seen her before and would see her again in a heartbeat! The crowd is very cosmopolitan and is a representation of her acceptance and love for all.

    Wicked

by tenfingers on 2009-07-11Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

I enoyed the show wo much. I liked that it was at a venue that I had never been to. I was excited to see the show and excited to see the venue. The show was amazing and the lady that opened for her couldn't have been more perfect. The venue gave it a very personal feel, I got to know the people around me very quickly. I would go to see another concert, especially if it was at this venue. Ticket Master sent my tickets right away. The fees were worth it because the tickets came right to my house and it was easy. They emailed me so that I would know excatly when to go to the site and order tickets. I got really good seats and would use and recommend Ticket Master to others
