Missy Elliott's performance at KCON 2013 alongside G-Dragon proved that the five-time Grammy winner is still a force to be reckoned with. The performance was reminiscent of Elliot's early live shows, as she strutted back and forth across the stage decked in a black and fluorescent-yellow leather jumpsuit. In concert, Elliott takes her audience to new levels of funk, with plenty of sexy style. With lavish dance moves, strobes and raw, assertive power, she infuses her live shows with enough energy to burn the place down. In 2010's European tour, ticket buyers around the globe were treated to Elliott's signature melody-driven tunes with a hip-hop flavor. Super-producer Timbaland was on hand to produce Elliott's seventh album, announced in 2013. She has kept quite busy in the meantime, appearing in collaboration with such stars as Beyoncé, Sharaya J, Fantasia and traveling across the Atlantic to help out Little Mix on a single "How Ya Doin'."
Elliott has come a long way since her first group, Sista, dissolved following a record deal that fell through. Characteristically unshaken, the resilient Elliot pressed on, enlisting the help of Timbaland, who got her a gig performing on Aaliyah's album, "One in a Million." It was then that industry execs rightfully took notice, giving Elliott her own deal that eventually gave way to her breakout album "Supa Dupa Fly" in 1997. That album catapulted her to super-stardom. The album went to No. 1 on R&B charts and reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200. Missy Elliot is now a female rapper without peer, fusing creative lyrics with catchy grooves and hooks to create exquisitely produced and daring music.
The most extraordinary show!!! Took my niece and we had an absolute blast!!! Missy was EVERYTHINGGGGGG you thought she would be. BUSTA,TIMBALAND, SPLIFF STAR, CIARA were all exceptional 🙌🏽👏🏽👏🏽👌🏽💫💯 Hope they come back next year!
Missy Elliot, Ciara and Busta Rhymes brought the house down. I recommend seeing them in action.
Fast paced show riddled with the dramatics, vibrant colours , lights and epic performances. Crowd was receptive and energetic. Started ON TIME. Loved it!

great although the sound system in scotiabank arena could have been cleaner. Microphone distortion and levels were too high at points
One of the best, if not the best, concerts we've attended. Really like how innovated they made this concert by trying to include the audience like they're part of the performance with the lighting bracelets. Very different. The display screens could've been bigger and/or better placed, as from the upper bowl section 321, most of the time, the performers heads were cut-off. For Janet Jackson, they were higher and more on the side, so more visible.
Such a good show. Every artist was on point and only played the hits. 10/10 would see this show again.

The official Millennial night out - Missy Elliott has superceded any and all expectations for her first ever tour. She managed to take 90's and early 00's music video visuals and reinterpret them for stage production. Insane. No-one like her. She was dancing, running across the stage and around the arena at 53 years old. I never thought I'd get the opportunity to see so many greats in one room. Please extend the tour beyond North America, I have friends who would have their lives complete being able to see this show.
