International de montgolfières de Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu Tickets

Jai payé mon entrée pour faire la file pour acheter des tickets pour ma fille puis une autre file pour acheter a manger pendant que ma fille faisait 3 autres files pour s'amuser. Ma soirée se resume a faire la file qui aurait durée 2h30 pui manger puis assisté au spectacle ou jason derulo nous a laissé attendre pendant longtemps. D'ailleurs meme s'il a allumé le feu sur scene jai du quitter car il se fzisait tres tard

The festival is nice and it was really worth it. The only thing they can improve is the information provided on their website and on-site. We went to see the hot air balloon’s at 6 am and did not know that there was 5 different sites. No indications on-site and I did not find any information or a map on their website. That can be improved.

... but since I was only going for the Billy Talent concert, and I managed to wedge my way all the way to the front gate right in front of the stage of the concert... I therefore had the Time of my Life! The four stars is mostly just for Billy Talent, I removed one star because the actual site was not that much fun, I was expecting much more. But maybe it's because I went late and arrived only at 8:00 p.m. a little before the concert and everything was probably less exciting?

Had a great time at the event. Well organized. Great shows. Great food. The only complain that I had is the long queue for buying water and at the filling up water station. In the next year event, it might be a good idea to have a few vendors or vending machines selling just water. It's very hot that day and queuing for 10-15 minutes was a torturing experience (my own opinion) The organiser might want to add more water filling station. Again, the queue was quite long and on the hot day, it's unbearable (my opinion)..

Great show! However the venue was missing quite a few things... enough water stations, food stations and shade to protect the public from the swelting sun. It's very appreciated that we are able to bring our own food and drink, however, if it's also provided, there should be enough vendors to address the need. I also miss the years when the bouncy castles were in one common field with only one way in and out.

The environment was very beautiful and good. It was a good place. But unfortunately, the number of participants was very large, and there was no suitable infrastructure for this event—long lines for toilets - very long lines for drinks and food. Also, the sound of the music was not good at all.

Overall we had a good day at the hot air balloon festival but felt that it was poorly planned for the number of people there. It was a 35 degree day, the event space provided little to no shade and parasols weren't sold. Many vendors ran out of water bottles, there weren't enough vendors for the number of people. We stood in line over an hour to get food or drinks meaning that most of the festival was spent standing in lines that hardly moved. Nowhere on the website indicated that you were allowed to bring your own water bottles, chairs or umbrellas - most festivals would convenscate this. There were only 2 water refill stations which had massive lines that would easily take over an hour and not enough picnic benches to sit at. I am not a smoker but my partner is, there wasn't a dedicated smoking area anywhere on the festival grounds so we constantly had to go back to our car for my partner to smoke. When the balloons took off that was great, we thought they would return and we could see them again but they never did. In the end we had a good day since we were together but were happy to leave early and go out for a nice dinner near the water because we knew it would be chaotic to leave after the final act on the main stage.

Soooo many people, i think about 200k came on saturday for Jason Derulo. It was very hot outside and they were ONLY 2 station of water on the site (45m just to fill your bottle of water is insane). Line-ups for food could've been better organized, more food trucks too. I waited 2h in line just to get something to eat and not enough table to sit and eat on. So tired of waiting that we left just before Jason Derulo's performance to avoid traffic. Either limit the maximum capacity or be better prepared to accomodate that many people. Tip for the people going: bring 10L of water, enough food for the whole day and bring chairs. The hot-air balloons were magical though. ✨️

être mieux organiser au niveau des Bar et foodtruck, les files d'attentes étaient interminable et il n'y avait pas suffisamment de prêt a boire (autant en choix qu'en quantité ! )

My husband and I had a great time at the Billy Talent concert. Unfortunately, there wasn't much to do prior to the concert, apart from the airplane display at the end of the concourse, which was great. But we aren't "fair" people and there wasn't a whole lot for us to do while we waited for the show to begin. The two previous acts were probably awesome, but the genres were far from each other. Maybe putting bands on the same night without jumping from country to glam rock to alternative? But Billy Talent rocked our socks off so we went back home to Ottawa that night pretty happy! :)

Il faudrait peut être plus d’endroit pour manger. Les files d’attente était énormément trop longue! 2:00 pour pouvoir manger avec un enfant de 4 ans! Inacceptable! Par contre tout le reste était wow! Très belle journée

C’est un très bel événement qui devrait tourner autour des montgolfières, mais en réalité on passe plus de temps à faire les files d’attentes. Impossible de se procurer une limonade, quelque chose à boire ou à manger :1h,1h30 d’attente. En plus les manèges sont surchargés, sans parler du spectacle où les gens se marchent sur les pieds. J’ai bien aime l’organisation du stationnement, même si une entrée plus proche des stationnements lointains aurait été un bon plus.

Je suis allée au festival pour la première fois cette année avec mon bébé d’1 an et ma fille de 5 ans. Manger était impossible puisque la file des food trucks dépassait les 2 heures d’attente. Beaucoup de personnes cherchaient un petit peu d’ombre puisque c’était très chaud à l’extérieur, mais malheureusement il y avait que très peu de parasol et de tente. Pas suffisamment de places assises considérant le grand nombre de personnes qui y étaient. Nous avons attendu 45 minutes au trailer Corona pour se faire dire qu’il n’y avait pu d’eau à vendre et la ligne pour la buvette était interminable. Absolument pas idéal pour une jeune famille. Nous avons tenté d’aller près de la scène de spectacle avec les enfants, nous y étions tôt donc c’était sympa, seulement lorsque tu veux quitter il y a la file du bar à drink qui bloque complètement les personnes qui souhaite sortir de cette zone, définitivement pas l’endroit idéale pour installer le bar. J’ai été déçu de mon expérience en général, mais les gens avec qui j’y était on rendu le tout agréable et malgré les circonstances nous avons apprécié la beauté des montgolfières qui s’envolent.

It was pretty cool at the exception there where notuch to do but still cool you don't go all day cause there is not enough to do all day

En général tout était bien, par contre il faudrait plus de point d’eau (la ligne était interminable) et de food truck l’année prochaine (nous avons attendu 3hrs pour notre souper… aucun sens 🥴 en plus qu’il restait seulement 2 choix dans le menu!)

Jason Derulo was incredible! Love it! The problem was the organisation of food and beverage stands. Only 3 stands for meals and over 1h30 wait for the beverage stands. In such a heat its unthinkable. They need at lease 5 times more if not 10 times! When we saw that on the internet site we decided to eat before! Thank god. But loved the show!!!

We were suppose to fly Thursday evening, it was raining and was anticipated to rain all day (which it absolutely did), but the tickets STILL required us to drive all the to St Jean Sur Richelieu otherwise we would not be able to reschedule our flight or be refunded. So we made the drive all the way there to be told the flights would be cancelled (big shock 🙄). We rescheduled for the following morning and there was a VERY low chance of rain. Arrived the next morning between 5-545am (we arrived at 525am figuring that would be ample time) like the instructions told us. We checked in at the first window, where we were given our tickets. Here’s where their lack of organization became problematic…. Once we checked in at the first window we had to wait in another line for around 30-45 min for the second window. Why did we have to wait in line again? Because in someone’s mind, printing the waivers in real time, at the window when each “passenger” presented themselves at said second window, would be efficient…. So me and my son get to the window, I sign the waivers (there was only ONE person printing the waivers…. I guess the girl who was working the first window finally decided to help girl #2 to get passengers through, cause the wait was RIDICULOUS. There was a third girl who sat in the little hut with a blanket wrapped Around her doing absolutely nothing… not sure what her function was, but she seemed to just take up space) I really think they need to rectify this… Print the waivers a day in advance, file them alphabetically, that way they’re ready to go when passengers present themselves for their flight…. That way the pilots and other passengers of the balloons aren’t waiting for those in line waiting to have their waivers printed :/ To add to this, once we had our waivers and we’re ready to go, we find out the pilot of our balloon didn’t show up (the ladies printing the waivers at the ticketing window did NOT have this info….) so there was about 3 people running around like chickens with their head cut off trying to find a replacement balloon… which further agitated me because it was early (we woke up at 330am to get to st Jean for 525am) and I was not impressed with the level of organization for the passengers of the hot air balloons (a pilot of one of the balloons had apologized to me for the lack of organization as I apologized to her for making the ride delayed for her and her other passengers. What does that say for the hot air balloon festival) Anyway, I doubt I’d go back. I’m not discouraging anyone from attending, by all means, it was VERY cool!!! Just make sure you have the patience of a saint and are ok attending an experience that is very disorganized It was an incredible experience while airborne, but I think I’ll try
