    great skating, unwelcoming venue

by Sandra H. on 2024-03-22Centre Bell - Montreal

The skating is most enjoyable, but it is hard to spend 10 hours a day, six days in a row, at the Bell Centre. They are absolutely draconian about you bringing anything to the rink, but the only concession that is open only sells beer, hot dogs, poutine...nothing even remotely resembling a vegetable. Six days in a row. With the packed schedule of skating, it is difficult to eat well. At 6:30 am on Monday morning, I was not allowed to bring my Starbucks coffee into the rink even though the Tim Horton's coffee stand inside was not open (it didn't open all day). During the event, there are brief 20 minute breaks while the ice is resurfaced, but this is not enough time to use the washroom. Despite the fact that 80-90% of the guests are female, none of the men's washrooms have been converted to women's, which is common practice at other figure skating events. Lineups are hundreds long.

    Don’t speak French

    by Disappointed on 2024-01-17

It has been an extreme hassle to switch the french into english on google translation. The change language option does not work, it needs to be fixed immediately. This is an international competition and should be in english. Does anyone know if there are in and out privileges or are you stuck there for 9 hours a day. Very disappointed and I am sure Canada won’t get another chance to host after this mess.

Expensive and French only, come on Canada!

    by Pissed fan on 2023-11-25

$235 for the cheapest seats? Talk about gouging. Why aren't the events in English with the English button. Canada is a bilingual country do better.

    OMG

    by Lona on 2023-10-22

I can't switch to English text on your web site for the list of events. Unfortunately I don't speak or read French. Also, I would really appreciate the possibility of purchasing an All Events Ticket. At this point I don't think I would go to Montreal for the Championships, although it was my dream for many years. Sorry.

    Greedy

    by J. V. on 2023-09-21

Tickets extremely expensive If you want a full house for the skaters maybe you shouldn’t be so greedy Also why don’t you package an all events ticket?

Would be nice to show the tickets in English, I understand it is in Montreal, but not everyone speaks or reads French.

    Fantastic skating

by PrincessBeany on 2016-04-07TD Garden - Boston

I spent all week at the World Championships and it was fantastic! Live skating is one of my favourite things. The exhibition was fun after a week of intense competition. I highly recommend everyone giving it a try!
