James Blunt (aka James Hillier Blount) lived all over Europe as a child with a father in the British Army Air Corps, taking piano and violin sessions and later learning guitar and writing songs as a teenager. After graduating from the University of Bristol, Blunt served six years in the British Army and was stationed in Canada, Kosovo and Switzerland, achieving the rank of captain before he left the army in 2002. The next year, he signed to Custard Records and starting recording his first album in Los Angeles. Back to Bedlam came out in 2004, with five singles including “High,” “Wiseman,” and the smashes “You’re Beautiful” and “Goodbye My Lover,” and received five Grammy nominations. With his endearing voice, poignant and sincere lyrics, and catchy pop-rock sound, Blunt’s debut has sold over 11 million copies. His second album, 2007’s All the Lost Souls, produced the hit “1973,” and 2010’s Some Kind of Trouble featured “Stay the Night,” “So Far Gone,” and “If Time Is All I Have.” The folky lead single “Bonfire Heart” premiered in October 2013, a few weeks ahead of the release of his fourth and latest album, Moon Landing. With a world concert tour planned for 2014, this charming crooner is set to dazzle ticket holders across the globe.

James Blunt concert was so enjoyable. He is talented, has a unique voice and a lot of energy. Nice music.
Loved i. Great music, great venue, I loved seeing him at the Centre since it felt like every seat in the place was a good seat and it felt intimate no matter how many others were there. Really great show.
I was an attendant for a wheelchair at the show. Once everyone stood up there was no chance of watching the show or seeing the performers after that. Very diisappointing as the show was very good itself.
Phenomenal Concert!! My husband and I sort of expected a sleeper, since most of his songs lean towards the slower ballads. It was anything but! With his warm charm and British wit he won over the audience until they hung on every move and word from him. It was clear by the mass sing-a-longs that the audience were die-hard fans. The band was TIGHT!! He clearly availed himself of some stellar musicians and they were worth listening to even without Blunt's amazing voice.Awesome concert!!
Amazing, excellent performance, outstandign respect for fans!
The James Blunt Concert was high energy and great music. Despite the fact that it was their last North American stop - the entire band was having a great time and the crowd was appreciative. Lighting and sound were ideal for the space. Great mix of new and old music. Excellent concert.
The concert, venue, and audience was awesome. The only disappointing thing was James only played for about an hour and a half. The show was TOOO short.
James Blunt was great, as usual. He is such a fantastic entertainer, singing all the best songs, and engaging the audience. The small venue was really a nice treat and the acoustics in Massey Hall are awesome.
The entire concert was amazing!! Massey Hall was a perfect venue for James Blunt. Great night!!!
James Blunt put on a great show! he was very energetic, funny and charming and did a great job involving the crowd. His opener, Christina Perri was phenomenal as well. I would highly recommend both performers!! I can't wait until James Blunt comes back!
great concert well worth the money .enjoyed the venue at Massey hall Balcony seats allow great view
When people think of James Blunt they may tend to believe his music is geared toward an older audience since it's considered soft rock/adult contemporary but his shows are far from that description. James is a true performer in ever sense of the word. Crowd interraction makes the whole show quite entertaining. He has played Massey Hall before but this performance was truly the best here in Toronto. I also had a chance to thank James personally after the show. Autographs were given patiently at the stage door.
