Absolutely fabulous show ! Totally amazing! I will definitely attend when the show returns to Montreal.
I didn't know what to expect. The show was played to perfection. The voice, instruments, and of course Jason on drums. I never saw Led Zepplin play live and this comes as close as possible to the real thing. the experience was unbelievable!!!!! I would also see them again and will recommend it to all my friends. Jason was so emotional, took us to his childhood with his late father. Very well done. Hats off to him and his amazing band which played every song just as they were recorded.
Great music, great band, great personnality this Jason, just like is dad
Stellar show; not a bad seat in the house. Outstanding performance by Jason Bonham and band. Plan to go see them on their next stop!
Jason's show in Hailton was unsurpassed ! My wife & I enjoyed the show thoroughly , and because we were so close to the speakers , I couldn't hear her voice for 2 days ...hehe. I am a HUGE Led Zeppelin fan , always have and always will be. I have been to many Zeppelin cover band shows but nothing compared to Jason's rendition , they were spot on and just knowing Jason was Bonzo's son added an extra element of intimacy with the music. Unfortunately for my wife & I we weren't able to attend the " meet & greet " as we were caught in the usual QEW traffic scenario , that was the only dissapointment for me , I would love to have at least said hello , and perhaps a handshake. Outside of that it was phenominal , and I'm sure any Led Zeppelin fan that attended would agree. Quite a contrast in ages of those who attended. Jason's comentary & home videos brought tears to our eyes as were privelidged to see a spec of Bonzo's home life. Cheers & Thank You Jason !!!!! Can't wait til next time !
Brilliant gig, i have seen Page & Plant twice, these guys sounded so like Zeppelin..
If you closed your eyes you were listening to Led-Zeppelin themselves. From the hauntingly familiar vocals to the perfect representation of Jimmy Page's guitar sound, John Paul Jones's bass sound and keyboards not mention the heavy handed drumming style of Jon Bonham perfectly portrayed by his son Jason and all the tastefully accompanying videos of Jason and his late father were simply amazing!!! I would recommend this show to anyone who is a true Led-Zeppelin fan and I know there is not a more accurate representation anywhere. It's a MUST SEE and I'll be sure to go when and if they come again!!! P.S. be prepared to stand a lot as there were countless standing ovations during the show! Peace, Troy.
These guys really exceeded my expectations! Jason's dad would be proud. They played very skillfully and included impressive drum and guitar solos to boot. The lead vocalist sounded bang on. I was easily taken away into a nostalgic day dream. If you closed your eyes, you might have sworn that it was Led Zeppelin themselves!
The concert was excellent, the tunes they chose to play were fantastic. My wife and I tokk our 11 & 13 year olds with us and we were all blown away, I would definately to advantage and see them again if the chance was to come up.
As a Zep fan, this experience will live in my rock n roll mind forever. Jason Bonham shared personal stories and clips that added so much to the show. Great Band and the sound was perfect.
Way better than expected! The talented musicians up on that stage were incredible. I will be at the next concert.
I have seen led zeppelin the real thing ,this was just like the real thing. the band was tight ,the guitar player was amazing .close your eyes an you would think jimmy page was on stage . idid a meet and greet before the show ,jason was awsome.took pictures with him.got the set list from the bellingham show autographed. saw him in seattle sat. night aswell. great show hope to see him again soon.
It was more than just a great musical experience There was a whole other level from seeing and hearing Jason's experience as the son of Led Zeppelin's drummer that died at an age younger than his own right now.
I really did not know what to expect from this show. I thought it was going to be a lot of multimedia presentations involving his father and old footage of Led Zeppelin, as well as them playing a half dozen songs. There was great footage of Jon Bonham and of Jason when he was small-very touching, actually. But what blew my mind (and EVERYONE WHO WAS THERE) was that they played pretty much all of the popular Zepellin songs (and some obscure ones, too) and if you closed your eyes, IT WAS LED ZEPELLIN!! An amazing guitarist who can play Jimmy Page's licks efforlessly, a singer who hit ALL the notes, an amazing bassist and keyboardist, and of couse, Jason Bonham playing which would make his dad proud. I saw Zepellin in the late 60's in a small club in Chicago and in Vancouver in around '75 or '76. I am a bit of a musician and know what I am talking about - if people knew how great they play the songs (every note and sound faithfully reproduced) this band could sell out Rogers arena. I know my review sounds "over the top", but you just "had to be there"! If they ever come again I'll be there.
excellent show, one of the best I've ever been to, Jason made you feel like you were part of the family, loved the home videos, superb drumming, Tony on lead was watching Jimmy Page 40 years ago he must have trained at the Jimmy Page school of Guitar he was unbelivable and I don't think he even broke a sweat!! the only thing that would improve this concert would be if it was at an out door venue!!!! make sure you call me first if they come back to town.... or maybe I'll go to U.K. to see him again or members of the original band.
Considering that L Z will never be touring again this is as good as it gets...a glass of red wine...a couple of puffs and I'm back in 1972...LOVE IT.....
Really excellent concert. Great musicians and amazingly Robert Plant-like vocals. Cracking!
Jason Bonham is very respectful of his Fathers fame respectful of Led Zeppelin as a whole. His ability to connect to the audience with detailed stories of what it was like growing up as son of music icon was unsurpassed! In meeting with Jason in a privite meet and greet after the show He was most humble and honest....I'm sure his Father is most proud of his work, because I know I am!! Respectfully yours, Belinda D.
Was very impressed with the show - amazing heartfelt tribute to his father. The band absolutely nailed the songs. One of the best concerts I've seen.
but the little fruit with the pucker lips pretending to be jimmy page looked like a real fruit but he did play most of the song in their proper tunings, except stairway to heaven in which the intro was correct on the six string acoustic but when he changed to the 12 string he was in the wrong tunning so it sounded off and most guitar players out there don't realize that each neck has a different tunning in 3rd for the 12 string and like a 7 string for the 6 string just one little half step.
