  • Led Zeppelin is ALIVE and well

by LedZeppelinFan on 2010-10-18Brandt Centre - Evraz Place - ReginaRating: 5 out of 5

If you like Led Zeppelin then you better see this performance. These guys had everything except the actual faces. The voices, the guitar styles, the drumming, and keyboards were all there. The show was spectacular. I think a lot of people were caught off guard as to what to expect. The show is under sold. The show is better than what is advertised. You are in for a Rock History and Current Rock treat. You won't want to miss a beat, check out the set list, listen to the originals, read the lyrics, and then go and have some fun. What a blast. They better come back to Regina again.

Great music, great muscians. They played alot of my faves including the Lemon Song and when the levee breaks. I wish now that I had bought tickets for more than one city near me!

Amazing sound!!!! Now I knew Bonham was going to find some talented musicians and that he did these guys sound like the recordings, but live. Any true Zeppelin fan is going to agree that plant and page can't be replaced, but these guys sounded better than any live footage i've ever watched............

  • Bonham Lives Again

by kiwi63 on 2010-10-17Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

A brilliant show made very poignant by Jason's obvious love for his father even 30 years after his death. A wide variety of age groups attended, from young boys with their parents to men and women 60+. Everybody had a great time listening to all the truly remarkable songs that John Bonham and the rest of Led Zep pioneered in the 60's and 70's.

  • Bonzo Jr

by Harry123 on 2010-10-16Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Would you call this a tribute band NOT Jason Bonham and band mates are producing nothing less than a Honor production of the best and most difficult of all the creations of Led Zeppelins songs. People should be yelling for Jason or Bonzo Jr for the song Moby Dick, as a sign of respect for Jason and his amazing father John Bonham.

  • Jason was awesome

by Woodstock69 on 2010-10-16Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Jason and his band members did a real good concert, so good it was like seeing Led Zeppelin live. The singer had Robert Plant's style as close as you can get to when Robert Plant was young. The guitar player played just as good as Page. Jason honored his Dad very well and played just like him. The bass player play as freely as John Paul Jones and the guy on keyboard and second guitar filled in very nicely. I would go to see them every time in the future I get a chance.

  • NOT LED ZEPPELIN - BUT THE NEXT BEST THING

by Buzzhead on 2010-10-16Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

The Show was Amazing!. You could tell it wasnt Page & Plant, but most definately the next best thing. Each Set ended with either a Home Video from the Bonhams life or Jason talking about his Dad John, rather than Bonzo the performer, who we all loved. the rest of the Band was exceptional. Show started at 7:30 & Ended at 10:30 w/ a 20 Minute Intermission in between (not bad for a show w/o an opening Act). The Only Down Side was leaving the show thinking...they didnt play "Over the Hills & Far Away", or "Communication Breakdown", or "Heartbreaker"...but thats the one problem w/ Led Zeppelin... way too many hits to fit into one show. They could have played a 6 Hour Show & still not played every great Zepp song. I had VIP Ticket, so we got to meet Jason as well. Great Experience all around. I didnt get to see Zepp in 2007, I am definately Glad I didnt miss this show as well!

  • A fantastic Led Zep Tribute!

by MDavout on 2010-10-16Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

A moving, honest tribute by Jason Bonham, the son of the late great John Bonham. No one else could have pulled off the genuine sincerity and commitment to preserving the legacy of Led Zeppelin. The band was great, and the song versions were taken from both studio and live versions. My only complaint was that the guitar was too down in the mix, and the bass too high. Otherwise, a great show and a great crowd.

  • The "Experience" was a great trip back in time..

by dickmoby on 2010-10-16Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

Jason's commentary was truly from the heart. The musicians were right on, however the overall sound quality was average at best..the bass often overshadowed both lead guitar & the singer..could not hear the singer for many of the songs..somewhat disappointing. However the music was great & true to Zeppelin's work. Jason played & commented with heart & soul, especially on Moby Dick. Lead guitar is outstanding. I was not blown away but there were many great moments & memories.

Jason and the band were awesome. Very respectful of the image being presented. They duplicated but did not imitate zepplin, no corney costumes/wigs. Thanks to Jason & the band for putting on a great show, bringing back some unforgettable memories - "the song remains the same". Thanks, dc

  • Jason Bonham rocks!

by zeppfan on 2010-10-16Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

I never saw Led Zeppelin live when they were all together, but this show was just as good, Jason played as well as Jon would have, loved how he showed his family life in the movies with his family. The singer was great, sounded very close to Robert Plant.

  • Jason Bonham Led Zep Experience Truly Amazing!!

by Scooby on 2010-10-16Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience is as close to the real Led Zep as humanly possible. The show was spectacular, the sound was phenomenal, everyone seemed truly impressed with the show. Jason Bonham's stories and videos about his father were truly heartfelt and sincere, very nice touch, to add a tribute to the late great John Bonham. The band performed an incredible show, one I will never forget!!

  • Led Zeppelin lives

by Longjohn on 2010-10-16Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Never got to see Led Zeppelin, but being born in 1962 I grew up with their music. This concert was the closet thing I'll ever have to seeing them ... and I got to bring my kids. We jam to Zeppelin all the time. What can I say. If you like this music (who doesn't) ... then go see this concert if you have the chance.

  • Jason Bonham Led Zeppelin Experience

by GKGGKG on 2010-10-16Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 3 out of 5

Cool for the average Zeppelin fan... however if you're like me and you listened to every track of every album as a kid and know the nuances of Plant's voice and Page guitar playing you may be a little dissapponited - cool though

  • Led Zeppelin was fantasmagorical

by Bones19 on 2010-10-16Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

It is without a doubt one of the best concerts that I have been at. The full explosive and creative genuis that was and still is , Led Zep! To hear the guitar riffs from Marshall speakers and the acoustic quality fothe Jubilee was incredible.

  • JASON BONHAM'S LED-ZEPPLIN EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT

by LOVETOROCKIT on 2010-10-16Interior Savings Centre - KamloopsRating: 5 out of 5

THIS BAND REALLY PUTS IT ALL INTO THE MUSIC. I WENT WITH MY DAUGHTER AND WE LOVED IT. THEY ARE NOT TRYING TO BE THE ZEP, JUST HONORING THEIR MUSIC. I LOVED IT WHEN JASON PLAYED ALONG SIDE HIS DAD IN MOBY DICK. JASON IS FANTASTIC AND CAN KEEP UP TO HIS DAD. THE VIDEOS WERE A NICE TOUCH. SOME SONGS COULD NOT HEAR THE LEAD SINGER TOO WELL, MUSIC DROWNED HIM OUT. HE IS GOOD AND HE REALLY NAILED STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN. I WISH THEY WOULD HAVE PLAYED THE IMMIGRANT SONG AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SECOND SET, IT WOULD HAVE REALLY GOT THE CROWD MOVING AND IT IS MY DAUGHTER'S FAVORITE ZEP TUNE. I WAS IMPRESSED TO SEE A MAN WITH NO LEGS JUST A ROCKIN' HIS WHEELCHAIR.

  • Jason bonham was mind blowing!!!!

by Karlos on 2010-10-15Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

It was more than just a concert, it was a show. The stories Jason told about his dad were so neat. The band was fantastic as well. The music sounded so accurate. The lead singer, although he looked like Chris daughtry , sound exactly like Robert plant. The guitar was amazing and wow Jason plays just like his dad. Great show!!!!
