  • You must experience the Led-Zepplin Experience

by Anonymous on 2010-10-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

I brought my two young teenaged sons to this concert, and it was everything I wanted them to experience and more!!! The music was INCREDIBLE! If you closed your eyes you could have been back in 1969 with the real thing (less the pot smells (mostly)). The play list was epic, the best of the best and then some. I loved the Jubelee as a venue because you get the full effect and feel of a rock concert, but in a safe and intamite atmosphere. It was great to see a wide variety of ages ranging from 8 to 80! Jason was the perfect host, letting us see into his childhood memories and home movies (thanks Mom!) Love the history, loved the music, loved the Experience!! Thanks Jason and Tony, what an amazing job!

  • Led Zeppelin Experience

by dianarossfan on 2010-10-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

I enjoyed it for the most part, not as exciting as I hoped and the lead guitar was a bit to loud overpowering everyone else, couldnt even hear the keyboard. But since it wasnt Led Zeppelin original overall it was not bad, perhaps a bit pricey as well.

Fantastic show! As good as you're ever going to get to see Zeppelin played. The show was a touching, personal tribute to Bonzo and the Bonham family, and more than did justice to the legendary music of Zeppelin. Unforgettable.

  • Truly a Led Zeppelin Experience

by Whatsupdoc on 2010-10-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Jason's home videos and pictures sure added a nice dimension to the awesome concert. His drumming was outstanding. Masterful and authentic sounding guitar and bass playing. The whole group was very cohesive and as far as I am concerned I was at a real Led Zeppelin concert!

  • I closed my eyes and believed!

by OldRockerChick on 2010-10-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

What a great performance! Each of the band member's was superb in their roles, and the guitar player was "out of this world". I closed my eyes and was able to believe I was listening to Led Zeppelin! Well done Jason!

  • Bonzo would be proud

John would be proud of the event. Hearing Led Zepplin music at concert volume levels was superfragilisticexpialidoshis!

  • Grab your hat!

by JSOB on 2010-10-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Great show-no pretense no look-a-likes, no trying to look like or act like Led just played the music and did they play the music!! Each instrument, especially the drums, seemed note for note just the way my heart remembered it. Good times and good memories flooded back

  • Great show except...

by stink93 on 2010-10-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

I thoroughly enjoyed the show. Jason did a great job of playing the Zeppelin greats. The other band members played very well too. My only vices were: 1. It wasn't Led Zeppelin (something no one can control) 2. The singer was lip syncing for most of the songs and they put Robert's voice in there, especially for any parts with a high pitch. 3. They focused mainly on the albums 1, 2, and 4. Don't get me wrong, these are great albums, but they do have other great songs on the other albums.

If you like ANY of Led Zeppelin's music this is a MUST see concert!!!! Very well done! Music was fantastic! What a great trip down memory lane!

  • For Zeppelin hard core fans only

by ZepFan67 on 2010-10-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

Unfortunatly I took my wife to this event, hoping to hear some of the many songs that are recognizable to the average listening public. Outside of "stairway to heaven" and "Rock & Roll" we were treated to all of the 10 minute long songs that only hard core Led Zeppelin fans would recognize. Instead of turning my wife into a Led Zeppelin fan I turned her off of Led Zeppelin forever. This was all Drum solo's and Guitar Solos - Note* we both enjoyed "Led Zeppica" when it was in town last year.

  • Edmonton - Led Zepplined

by LLM007 on 2010-10-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Incredible concert from the opening video to the closing encore, the music was fantastic. Jason and his band did a great job on providing Led Zeppelin’s music, while the lead singer had moments drawing a parallel to Robert Plant energy. Jason put together a great team of musicians and I especially enjoyed the digital duel with his dad playing Moby Dick, definitely a highlight. If the concert is coming to your town, get your tickets now, you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend

  • Led Zep Respectfully Revisited

by wynditup on 2010-10-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

Great show, a very personal and respectful tribute by Jason Bonham to his father and the rest of Led Zeppelin. The band was smoking, amazing lead guitars and drumming and a very good vocalist. The setlist will please any Led Zeppelin fan. They remained true to the original tunes but it had a modern heavy sound. Great stuff.

  • JBLZE - Excellent

by PRO2 on 2010-10-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

True to Jason's preamble, the concert was a tribute to his father as seen by Jason himself instead of just a Led Zeppelin soundtrack. We enjoyed the concert very much and wish him and the band future success.

  • An incredible experience

by Anonymous on 2010-10-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

I wasn't sure what to expect however I was sure this, unfortunately, would be the closest to experiencing Led Zeppelin live for me and the venue has never disappointed. The music was incredible and peformed with passion and I was not disappointed. Jason's drum solos were remarkable and the vocals and guitars were spectacular. Thank you for bringing the music of Led Zeppelin that I love alive with such power.

  • Great musicians, lousy sound.

by Congaman on 2010-10-14Interior Savings Centre - KamloopsRating: 3 out of 5

I'll start this off positively. The show was great. The musicians were very good and, yes, it was wonderful to hear the Zep tunes again. I enjoyed the "home movies" and a bit of history of Jason & John. Jason's drumming was phenomenol and at times if you closed your eyes...was it John? The show was worth the ticket price....BUT...fire the sound man. The show was entirely too loud. There's no need for those kinds of volume levels...especially in an arena such as we have here in Kamloops. The mix was way off in my opinion. Too much guitar volume drowned out not only the singer but Jason as well. I walked around the arena to sample various other spots and got the same results. Having said that, the performances were very good. I find myself putting alot of praise on the bass player...very well done.

I dont think you would have to even be a fan of Led Zepplin to have liked this concert. Jason Bonham's tribute to his father John is excellent. His Band members and himself have done an amazing job of mimicking each song note for note. In all an awesome experience, I will never forget.

  • Led Zep Experience

by metalwiddler on 2010-10-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Singer came out a bit rough but two or three songs in he got warmed up and the whole band rocked the place. It was nice to see some of the old home footage from Jason, The show overall was a 9 out of 10. Always love to see shows at the Jubilee :-)

  • by Warden on 2010-10-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

If you closed your eyes you were taken back in time to a Led Zep show. This band is fantastic at what they're doing now and I would love to see them again. If would be really interesting to hear some original material that they must have. Even though the Jubilee is a really nice venue it's not great for rock 'n roll - sometimes it's fun to stand and do some air guitar.

  • Thank you!!!! Unreal

by APlay1 on 2010-10-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

This show was unbelievable. Jason Bonham is an incredible drummer and showman. I wasn't even born when Led Zeppelin was touring, but I am a fan and this was not only a good cover band this was the closest you will come to Led Zeppelin without the orginal members. Great footage and stories as well!!!
