  • Jason get's the Led out!

by DeleoBrosRock on 2010-10-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

It was a shaky start, and I wondered whether I could sit through an entire Led Zeppelin tribute band performance. But the band got better and more confident with each song. Jason, although not possessing the same talent of his father, is a great drummer and can hold is own with anyone in the world. There were touching moments of home movies and stories with his father John. And he was completely honest that he was a 'fan' like everyone else in attendance. If you love Led Zeppelin, this show is well worth it. And Jason even does a duet on Bonzo's Montreaux. The guitarist, a great player, has the annoying habit of bopping up and down while he plays. However, the vocalist (an unknown YouTube singer) was great! There aren't many in the world who can pull off Robert's vocal range. Admirable job!

  • J Bonham's Led Zep Experience...

by wazzup on 2010-10-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 1 out of 5

The chosen venue of the Jubilee Auditorium was excellent. The chosen light/sound crew was 'brutal'. Lots of great songs played, but the sound was distorted, and the lights were out of synch with who was playing what. The backstage video screen was amateurish in this day of technology. In video displays from a camera within Bonham's drum kit, looking upwards toward him, it reminded me of a little web-cam that one attaches to a home computer. The video display was stilted and out-of-synch with his playing. Professional? They'd make a great bar band. My son saw Led Zepplica a few years back, in the same venue, and he said Led Zpplica were way better.

  • Sensory Overload!

by DaneUberFan on 2010-10-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

For someone who didn't grow up in the Zeppelin era, this was my only chance to experience that time & when I left I wish I could have grown up when Zeppelin were kings! Everyone in that band was beyond incredible! Unbelievable drumming & the guitarist was out of this world!

  • Great Show

I previously reviewed this and said everything was great except the singer couldn't quite hit some high notes. I found out today that he had a cold, so 2 thumbs up.

  • led zepplin experience was amazing

it was great to see the closest thing to the real thing....great the way Jason commentated the video footage.....I think the crowd was so quiet at the beginning due to the security, they should ease up and let people enjoy themselves....

Enjoyed Jason's trip down memory lane. You can tell he really admires his dad's work.

  • Jason Bonham Led Zeppelin Experience

by BlakeF on 2010-10-12Interior Savings Centre - KamloopsRating: 5 out of 5

Great show with performers equal to the task.. Jason's drumming is a very close second to his fathers.. A very emotional tour for him.. Unfortunately the crowd was sadly lacking.. maybe due to the turkey.. they missed a great concert. Seeing them in Vancouver for the final performance should be a treat..

WOW. It didnt matter that it wasnt a sell out. I went to enjoy the sounds of Zepplin live. I got what I paid for and more. Unbelievable guitar, amazing drumming, the un seen videos. This was a great way to see John Bonham and only Jason could do it. Well done I would go again. Thanks for the memories!!

  • Amazing Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin!!!

    by Suzi53 on 2010-10-12Interior Savings Centre - KamloopsRating: 5 out of 5

This was one great concert!!! One of the best I've seen. Unfortunately, it was on Thanksgiving Sunday, so the turn out wasn't great. This is a great group of musicians, with your eyes closed, you couldn't tell the difference between these guys and the original Led Zeppelin. As a matter of fact I thought the lead singer James Dylan was better than Robert Plant.

Amazing music. All the instruments were clean and guitar solo's were done with perfection.

  • excellent show

by thankyou on 2010-10-12Interior Savings Centre - KamloopsRating: 5 out of 5

My first concert was led zeppelin at age 14 in 74. Loved them, favorite band ever. Jason does a great job of giving you the experience of Led Zeppelin without it feeling like just a copy cat version. The lead gutarist was fantastic, I am sure Jimmy Page would be impressed. I am only sorry that our city was only the 3rd on the tour, so word is not really out how good this show is. It was also our thanksgiving weekend, so pathetic turnout. The band played it like it was a fullhouse. the concert left me dazed, but certainly not confused!!! John would be proud of Jason!

  • Sounds like Zeppelin!

by Totofan on 2010-10-12Interior Savings Centre - Kamloops, BCRating: 4 out of 5

Wow, this was definitely more than just a tribute. What a fantastic show! Jason Bonham and band were electric, and if you closed your eyes...well, you get the picture. Terrible, tiny audience for this great performance. Otherwise, this was really an awesome experience all around. Some very heartfelt moments as Jason described his childhood memories, along with vintage photos and movie footage projected on the screens behind the stage.

Great storyline to a great show, sound was great!!

  • Better than expected

by Anonymous on 2010-10-11Prince George CN Centre - Prince GeorgeRating: 5 out of 5

I thought it would be good, didn't expect it to blow me away. Never having had the chance to experience a Zep concert, this has to be considered the next best thing. Excellent musicianship and a very fitting tribute to Bonzo and Zeppelin.

  • Led Zepplin Experience was GREAT !

by wantsfun on 2010-10-11Prince George CN Centre - Prince GeorgeRating: 4 out of 5

Although the concert was very loud and my ears are still ringing. Jon Bonham would have lots to be proud about his son and the groups performance. Great and brought back lots of great memories.

by ripsyd on 2010-10-11Prince George CN Centre - Prince GeorgeRating: 5 out of 5

Made my way down to the front of the stage, and had an absolute blast! The band killed it! the show was amazing, and considering that this is probably as close as i'll ever get to seeing led zeppelin, I was not disappointed! they played every song i possibly could have wanted to hear, and the video footage was brilliant!
