Hit after hit after hit, Jay had everybody in the arena saluting to the CEO of the ROC! Best! Concert! Ever!

smoking awesome show, I wasn't sure what to expect from HOVA but he was simply amazing. I think I'm going to try and check out some of his dates further along in the tour!

Yes, I want more. I waited 13 years for Jay to come, ever since I started listening to him. Never thought he would grace the stage at Rexall. That concert was a billion times better that I expected. From the set-up to the vocals, Jay put it DOWN!!! Also, SO glad N*E*R*D came back. I was still raving about their last appearence when they came with Kanye, and now I have more to talk about.

Our 2nd row seats at the very end of the row were awesome. We were seated right near the 'gates' where people could enter backstage and where the performers would come out. Wale and N.E.R.D. opened, and halfway through the Jay-Z set, N.E.R.D. came out through the gated area and stood on the floor to watch the concert. We were able to talk to them and get pictures with the members. It was awesome! The production of the concert was awesome, Jay-Z's stage set up looked amazing, and it was a great show! He even turned up the lights and looked into the audience to pick out specific people and say 'thanks'.

This concert had everything for everyone Good music, good crowd and good message I love that jay included the audience - in a non cheesy way He obviously knew where he was, who his fans were and the expectation of his concert Definitely recommend this to anyone who likes a good beat!

Outsanding entertainer..... He drew in the crowd... United everyone his music and story telling. So inspiring to see someone so thankful, grateful, such a radient soul. Oh YEAH!!! HE ROCKED THE TOWN!!!!

If you only go to one hip hop concert in your life...make it Jay-Z.

This was the best show of my life I thought KANYE did a good job with his glow in the dark tour and up until yesterday that was my favourite show of all time but Jay single handedly destroyed that entire show. I AM STILL speechless and I HAVE no clue how HOV did such an amzing job I was not expecting what I saw from him great job Sean Carter you have set the bar high for any future rapper that comes to Edmonton !!

The concert was awesome!!! I came to the concert with pretty crappy tickets way up in the 200 section. A lady from ticketmaster came around asking where our seats were and ended up giving us sweet tickets in the 100's. Thanks so much!! Jay Z was amazing as well! He knew how to work the crowd and actually was humble enough to thank the crowd for coming out. One of the the best concerts of the year!

I haven’t been to a hip-hop show in many years despite listening to it emphatically. The live performance has evolved quite nicely, accompanied by a live band, Jay-Z was impressive. Unlike most acts that come through town, Jay-Z really was a class act; what I mean is he actually seemed graciously when he took time out at the end of the show to recognize audience members thanking everyone for supporting him. Most acts I have seen give the distinct impression they have other places they would rather be. (RHCP is the best example of this) Jay-Z is as sharp as they come, and obviously enjoys performing. Thanks for the memories!

Jay-Z put on a real show and gave it his all in his performance at Rexall Place. Even though the crowd was a bunch of "kids" us real Jay-Z fans loved the show. NERD was AWESOME as well!!

Wow! I know that Jay is the king of Hip-Hop. I know that after Big and Pac, he is the greatest. But I never really appreciated his work. I just knew he was good 'cause of all the hype. But after seeing his show last night... Hova has an unforgettable image in my book... shear brilliance and everlasting. Other than the fact that his performance was effortless and his flow was flawless, what surprised me most is how he took the time to thank the fans at the end of his show. He spent about 10 minutes facing different sections of the arena, thanking fans and naming them by the colour of their shirts, coats, and hats! JayZ surpasses the '5 star Amazing' criterion!

My mind was blown by how incredible this concert was. I'm so glad that I went. When Jay came up from the floor, I lost it. The only thing that I was disappointed about was that J. Cole didn't perform. I was really hoping to see him and Jay-Z do A Star is Born.

With Jay-Z's impressive catalogue he didn't fail to show. From Reasonable Doubt to the Blueprint 3, Jay-Z moved the crowd verse after verse, song after song. There is absolutely no reason, nor price, I would not see Jay-Z again in the future. His presence and talent blessed us all.

This concert was crazy. The openers were alright, I haven't heard much Wale so he was hard to follow, and I don't care much for N.E.R.D (although they were really hype too). But when the count down started for Jay-z, then he rose out of the stage and the performance was off the charts. Old Jay-z, new Jigga, it was such a good mix. I loved it!

NERD was so good! Jay Z was AMAZING!!! Hes so hot!

I danced non stop to Jay Z it was the most energetic, awesome concert I have ever been to.
