  • Jeff was AWESOME!!

by Drea on 2023-09-02Rating: 5 out of 5

Truly personal and personable; sassy, charming and an amazing band. Would definitely see this crew again if they come back. I expected it to be good...I didn't expect to fall in love!

It was very entertaining and laughed a lot too. I'd like to go see his next show.

Fantastic concert with world class musicians and singer. Jeff was great on piano and was so relaxed and personable. His interaction with the audience was funny and fun. He seemed to be really enjoying himself.

  • Fun concert, good sound, terrible facilities

Jeff Goldblum is a decent jazz musician, but the evening is more like an evening with him as well as some music. He's no Oscar Peterson, but the band is good, his singer was great and he has a winning personality who clearly enjoys chatting with the audience. Good sound at the Danforth Music Hall, but the washrooms are abominable. They've gone to gender free, but of course, none of the women want to go into the former men's bathroom to use the stalls while men are at the urinals. That means line-ups of women almost to the orchestra pit as there are 4 stalls for women. They had to send many to the bar next door. You have to channel your inner camel for any event at the Music Hall. Really impacts the enjoyment of the show when you know a trip to the bathroom will be a major endeavor. At least the removable chairs are padded and comfortable, but since they are removed for rock bands, the spacing can be a problem. Our row was quite tight, while the row behind us had premium leg room.

  • FANTASTIC

Jeff Goldblum is a treasure ! It was also lovely to be in a room with many people thought the same thing !! Hehe Exquisitely talented, funny. , and his show was a perfect mix of his easy-going rapport with the crowd, and musical moments that were easy to listen to, but also stretched some nice jazz harmony arrangements, and lots of solos from a talented band. I absolutely loved it and my date , who didn’t even really know who Jeff Goldblum was ( ???) loved it too This show was also a master class in making the audience feel comfortable and engaged throughout the whole show . BRAVO !!!

  • Great show, too bad about the printed start time

by HH on 2023-08-21Rating: 4 out of 5

My tickets CLEARLY read 7:00 p.m. Imagine our surprise (and that of many other in line) to discover THAT was the time the DOORS OPENED! Jeff Goldblum came out to warm up the crowd at 7:30 and the show actually started at 8:00. Would have been nice to know that ahead of time. However, once things got underway, we thoroughly enjoyed the show.

Enjoyed the music and some of the banter. I thought some of the interaction with the audience a little silly.
