I am from the same area of New Brunswick. I am amazed at what this musician has created in music. The concert was indeed a spiritual experience. All Canadians should be so fortunate to see and listen to this genius. He makes this world a better place and may he continue so for many many years!
Jeremy and his ensemble performed with such passion and joy. It is refreshing to see a group of artists that not only love what they do, but push for better work. So thankful that I got to see this performance!
What a great experience. From start to finish, this was an amazing evening. Great staff at the Burt, the popcorn was good and more affordable than the BellMTS Place. Please get some local beer choices. Seriously you want locals to come to the events, let us choose local beer to support our local businesses.
Jeremy is an eloquent speaker with a powerful and beautiful voice that gets you right in your heart! Loved the Winnipeg Symphony who supported Jeremy in his music 🎶❤️
I really enjoyed hearing the range in Jeremy’s voice and to hear the album live, was amazing. I also appreciated his words of acknowledgement to his Indigenous brothers and sisters. The storytelling and humour made the experience more intimate and engaging. I really felt a part of the show. I also loved watching the chemistry between him and the WSO and the energy from the conductor was great. Love it and would definitely recommend.
Wonderful from start to finish! Intriguing storytelling thru his music. Songs were hauntingly beautiful. Jeremy is a very talented pianist as well. The 2musicians that accompanied him were just as talented in their own right. A truly enjoyable concert!
This show was excellent. Jeremy's musical performance was phenomenal! One of the best concerts I have see. In between songs he was engaging / thoughtful and sparked hope for Canada in remembering and reconciling our history with Indigenous peoples.
Jeremy Dutcher put on a great show at the NAC. He has a great singing voice and presented all his songs beautifully. The cellist and percussionist who accompanied were also terrific. His comments between songs were very funny, but also heartfelt and poignant. I would recommend seeing him any time and would be happy to see him if/when he comes back.
Wow ..... he reaches deep into the soul to awaken all ancestors waiting for this music to be revitalized.
