While the cost of the ticket was more than I would usually spend, it was for a good cause and getting to see Jerry Seinfeld was special. Accordingly, I do not regret going or the cost.
I thought my seats were going to be bad, but they were great! We had a nice view of Jerry. All of his material was new - almost nothing that I had heard before. He has us laughing from start to finish and I was very sad when the lights came on and it was time to go.
I laughed so hard from the second he hit the stage until his final words that the back of my head was aching.
What an amazing show! I have been a huge fan for a long time, and couldnt believe that I would finally get to see him live! Well worth the wait!
A terrific show. What a pleasure it is to see and hear a comedian that does not rely on profanity. Great material. Great presentation. Highly recommended.
A great act - it is unbelievable how he flows from one topic to the next and keeps you laughing along the way! At the end, you can't believe that he has spoken for 90 minutes and leaves you wanting more. Best comedy show that I have seen live !
Jerry Seinfeld was just as funny and astute as ever during his performance at the Jub on June 16th. His comedic view of human nature and ability to make the benign fall down funny are unmatched.... still. And he does this without vulgarity or appealing to the lowest common denominator. In fact, his humour might be called "white collar", for example his riff on Blackberries, and even "middle aged" - see his comments on parenthood. But he is a master at making the common sublime; the inane insightful. I am so glad I did not miss the chance to see him perform live. He is THE comedian of our time.
Jerry Seinfeld exceeded my expectations, which were REALLY high to begin with!! I laughed from the moment he came on stage until the moment he finished. In fact, I didn't ever want it to be over it was so great. For anyone who loved the TV show Seinfeld or just loves Jerry, you don't want to miss this guy do standup because you'll never forget it. Pay whatever you need to pay, do whatever you need to do, just don't pass up the opportunity to see Jerry Seinfeld live...it really is one of the best nights of entertainment you'll ever have.
I had heard that he was doing new material that may not have been that great at times but the Seinfeld I saw was simply put - GREAT. I roared and couldn't held but think back to all of the TV episodes I have seen throughout all my formidable years. I would return to see him in a heartbeat!
This was my first time seeing Jerry S live. it was awesome. It was exactly what i expected to see.
4th time I've seen Seinfeld live and he's as funny as ever.
He had pretty cool material right with the times, especially making fun of ipod and blackberry people. It was great how he had a questions and anwers section at the end. I highly recommend this show and the opening comedian was pretty funny as well. :-)
Seinfeld was great to watch/listen to in person. I thought the guy that opened for him was brilliant too!
I went to this show with virtually no expectations. I am a huge fan of t.v.'s "Seinfeld" and wondered if he could be as hilarious without the other cast members. I had heard varied reviews as to Jerry Seinfeld's onstage comedic act, and wasn't sure what to expect. I was immediately impressed! He has an incredible energy and presence on stage that really took me by surprise! His act was very well written and intelligent. He flowed from one subject to the next so easily...the only negative thing to say is that the evening went too quickly. I felt the content was appropriate and not offensive in any way! If my parents were Seinfeld fans, I would recommend it to them! I have not laughed this hard for an hour and a half straight in a very long time! My mouth and sides hurt! I was certainly reminded that Jerry does not need the other cast members to stand out - more importantly - I was reminded that he was 50% of the brains behind the writing of his show to begin with. The opening act Larry Miller was also impressive and just added to the humor of the evening. Seinfeld is the consummate professional and his comedic genius was never more evident than it was last night on stage. This truly is a must see for any Seinfeld fan!
