This was a spectacular show! It seemed so short and I didn't want it to end! Ted Neeley is a legend! I am so happy it was still him doing his amazing performance. No one could have compared. In fact, the entire cast had divine voices that were very powerful. I would recommend to see it because I honestly don't know how long it will be around. Go now!
music was moving, powerful voices, interesting sets.
The production was awesome. I liked the "rock" components of the musical. The musicians were wonderful especially the guitar player(s).
Really enjoyed Neely...only thing missing was not having a full orchestra..as is just not the same as live music....other than that..awesome.
The music and acting was very good, however this was just not my favorite

Saw this show in Saskatoon. It is very well done. Awesome singers plus some eye candy! I realize Ted Neely is the big draw, but a 66-year old actor portraying a 33-year old Jesus doesn't quite work. Plus his singing voice wavers often in his old age. But he can still hit the high notes like nobody
We bought the tickets mainly because of Neely's name, however after seeing the performance, I think it is time that he hangs it up. The obvious age difference between him and the rest of the players was extremely distracting for me. When I looked at him I thought "Moses" instead of "Jesus". Mary Magdalene and Judas were the stars of this performance.
The show was unbelievable,well worth the price of admission. The only downside was that there were no memorabilia to buy after the show.
loved Jesus Christ Superstar was the second time i had seen it and iwas still great i would watch it again
When the first piece of music started I got goosebumps. The whole performance was amazing. From the singing to the music just brings back the movie all over again.
I think it was a great performance. Judas was great and so was Mary. The cast look like they have a great time together. The scene where JC is dying on the cross was a little over the top for me.
Amazingly gifted performers! This production left me in awe.
I saw Jesus Christ Superstar in Edmonton in 2006. It was great then, but this year it is totally awesome..the best show ever. Of course Ted Neely looked older than the character should look, but it wouldn't be the same without him. The newbie who played Mary M was incredible. All the singing put shivers up my arms! If I could, I would see it again tonite!
As this being the 4th time I have seen J C Superstar, I have to say I still love it. But the only mildly disappointing comment I have is that Ted Neeley was a little weak with his voice. I did not like sitting in the 3rd level, I think 2 yrs ago when I went that the ground floor was a better seating location.
