Jim Jefferies on Tour

Jim Jefferies is one of the most popular and respected comedians of his generation, entertaining audiences across the globe with his provocative, belief-challenging, and thought-provoking comedy. He was recently named one of the top 5 touring comedians in the world.

After receiving rave reviews for his 2018 international stand up tour, The Unusual Punishment Tour, Jim is back on the road with an entirely new routine for his The Night Talker Tour, with his international leg kicking off this November 2019. Additionally, Jim was recently honored as Stand-Up Comedian of the Year at the Just for Laughs Festival this summer. Jim is working with NBC on a multi-camera pilot which he would star in from writer-producer Suzanne Martin, Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner's Hazy Mills and Universal TV.

Most recently signed a first look deal with Comedy Central for content development in television and digital media. Additionally, Jim's eponymous Comedy Central series, THE JIM JEFFERIES SHOW debuted its third season on March 19, 2019 at 10:30pm ET / PT. As a strong voice in late night, the weekly series features Jim traveling across the globe to tackle the top news stories and controversial issues of the day. In addition to the series, Jim also continues to head up the weekly podcast series, ‘The Jim Jefferies Show Podcast', co-hosted by Forrest Shaw. The podcast, from Comedy Central's Podcast Network includes interviews and discussions with a variety of guests discussing current news and politics, as well as providing a more in-depth focus on the topics and opinions featured on the television series - with less filters.

In 2018, Jim starred in his third Netflix comedy special JIM JEFFERIES: THIS IS ME NOW. Performing at the Eventim Apollo in London, he unapologetically kept it real opening up the challenges of being a single father, as well as the weirdest gig he ever played. In 2017, he released his fifth major stand up special in seven years, FREEDUMB. The special was Jim's second to air on Netflix, and followed the huge success of the first, JIM JEFFERIES: BARE, in which he delivered a now iconic routine on guns and gun control in the United States.

In addition, Jim created, wrote, produced, and starred in the critically acclaimed FX series LEGIT, which ran for two seasons and has since gained a cult following. He has also appeared in the films KILLING HASSELHOFF and PUNCHING HENRY.

Jim currently lives in Los Angeles.

by MJYOW on 2015-12-16National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - Ottawa

Headliner delivered a never-ending series of well-knit personal stories with expert ease. A little shock and awe with rapid fire gut-wrenching hysterical one-liners.

Mr Jim Jefferies: An Excellent Show

by Rosco1964 on 2015-12-16National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - Ottawa

An excellent performance by Jim Jefferies. A few people left early on but they missed a fantastic show. First time we had seen him in person, and we enjoyed every minute of it.

Jim is just the best. Funny. Smart. Funny. Simply put, it's him, Louis CK, Bill Burr at the top of their game right now.

    Enjoyable for the most part

by Sharkbyte on 2015-12-16National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - Ottawa

Not a disappointing show and quite full of irreverent Jim we can't get enough of. Would have loved to hear your signature piece live but instead we were treated to an endless portrayal of life as little Hank's crap filled pants. The first ten minutes, we got the point. The next 20 minutes, well.... The show began with a flourish and ended with one too. It's the detour in the middle that burns a star to four from five.

    Jim Jeffries killed it

by Anonymous on 2015-12-16National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - Ottawa

Awesome show. This guy kills me. The NAC's policy on not allowing drinks in the theatre is dumb, but that was a minor issue.

    Comedy night

by Sarahahah on 2015-11-24Tulalip Resort Casino - Tulalip

The show was great. No complaints about Mr Jefferies. The casino venue itself was way overpriced (Tulalip), but the event had its own bars which were pricy but more reasonable (inline with other events and venue). There were some dinner options in the immediate vicinity of the casino but we had to stay a few miles out for reasonable accommodations.

    Jim Jeffries is hilarious!

by Packey on 2015-11-22Pantages Playhouse Theatre - Winnipeg

Non stop laughs! So funny! All new material, not a single joke of his I'd heard before. The show and material was also very custom to the night even, not just the fact he was in Winnipeg. It was awesome! Also the fact that he came took the time to come out to the lobby and meet and get pictures with everyone at no charge was awesome! Great guy!

Not worth the effort to get there

by Tracyohn on 2015-10-27Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

We attended the 11 pm show. It was memorable for a few negative reasons. The fight that broke out in the first balcony ~ 6 feet away from us and the fact the Mr. Jefferies appeared to be a bit drunk. He had some very sharp moments and on point jokes and dialogue but overall his presentation was boring, apologetic (but not) and did touch on subjects that I personally can't even fathom why he chose them. For being in Canada with so many significant events occurring last week (i.e. Blue Jays playoff games, election) he added nothing that was relevant to current events. He dialogued about Bill Cosby for a long time and it came out in the end sounding like sour grapes because, as he explained Bill had dissed him in a review many years ago. Not that Mr. Cosby doesn't deserve derision but, in my opinion... and this is what this is... Jim made himself sound like a bitter man getting back at someone. He warned us that if we booked tickets based on his popular gun control monologue found on Youtube we were going to be disappointed. Well Jim, you were funny in that monologue. You were engaging and you made me laugh. That IS why I booked the tickets. I won't make that mistake again. Best of luck to (gf and his son) Kate and Hank. They sound like lovely people.

    Jefferies Always Great!!

by AMA1 on 2015-10-26Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

However, the Jubilee was SO uncomfortably warm that night! I'm not sure if its because it was the late show and 2000 bodies had just left... either way the air conditioning was not on... Our group enjoyed his last performance (2014) more...

Hilarious all the way through. Would have liked to have a longer opener admittedly, but as far as Jims show went, it was perfect! Hope he comes back soon!

    Mixed review

by Wishful on 2015-10-26Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

The first half hour was very funny. Couldn't stop laughing but the last half of the show was just not that funny. It felt like Jim didn't care to be doing the late show, he seemed angry and I might add slightly drunk. I had trouble understanding him and I was not sitting very far from the stage. Instead of giving us a final joke he choose to fart into the microphone. Funny? Perhaps but I paid to laugh and enjoy what I've seen on DVD. His new joke involving his young son just wasn't funny and too long. Don't get me wrong I still like him as a comedian I was just not all that thrilled with this show.
