  • Joe brought down the house!

by Haller on 2011-11-04Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Unbelievable the talent this man has. Amazing voice and amazing fingers. I have never heard music come from a guitar like this before. The drummer was one of the best I have ever heard and very animated and fun!! He and Joe went back and forth dueling with each other which was very entertaining. It was cool to see people jump out of their seat the minute Joe walked on stage.

  • Joe Bonamassa...excellent

by mommal on 2011-10-31Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Best guitar show ever. He can really play. Excellent venue, only issue we felt was because they served beer, people didn't stay in their seats. The row 6 ahead of us, got up at least ..15 times, minimum...frustrating. We just wanted to sit and watch him play...He was unbelievable.

by Biashickory on 2011-04-04Ottawa Civic Centre - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

I had heard the cd's and seen the video but to see him live was incredible. I was impressed that he started right on time and did not stop for 2 hours and 25 minutes. He and his bandmates were clearly enjoying themselves and it showed in their performances. The pace of the show was awesome. An evening I will remember for a long long time.

  • So much Talent

by Jakcraft on 2011-04-04Ottawa Civic Centre - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

From the first note to the last, Joe Bonamassa expresses his musical universe with precision and ferocity way beyond his younge age. Seems to master every genre he chooses to indulge in, one of a kind for this age and the future! Not to be missed!!

  • Joe knows the guitar

    by Bubba14 on 2011-04-04Ottawa Civic Centre - OttawaRating: 4 out of 5

Joe Bonamassa is the best guitar player in the world, period. The set was simple, the venue not so good, but the show was incredible.

  • Go Joe!

    by Carmen49 on 2011-04-04Ottawa Civic Centre - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

Joe Bonamassa, as it turns out, has been in the music business for decades but remains relatively unknown. How can this be? Of all of the many talented guitarists I've had the opportunity to see, this man is likely THE most talented guitarist I've been fortunate enought to see live. I would see him again without hesitation. His concert was riveting, dynamic, and totally organized. The sound quality was excellent and I left wishing I could hear more. This man and his band need more recognition for excellence in music, Give him grammies!

  • Must be seen

by BluesFiend on 2011-04-03Ottawa Civic Centre - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

I have seen the best guitarist in the world... To name a few, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Johnny Winter, the list goes on. Why do I mention these other guitar slingers? Because Joe Bonamassa fits in with them, truly one of the great guitar players in our time. Joe Bonamassa has the skill, talent, tone and the stage presence. He really must be seen to be appreciated. One hard working guitar player. Really puts it "all in"... So glad I was able to see him do his thing.

  • A modern day bluesman

by earsaringing on 2011-04-03Ottawa Civic Centre - OttawaRating: 4 out of 5

It is hard to believe that a 32 year old has accomplished what JB has. He is really amazing and anyone interested in "the blues" must at some point do themselves a favour and investigate this modern day bluesman. His music is strong, modern, and filled with emotion and energy. He is this generations spokesman of the blues. It was a great show and good sound for a hockey arena. The only negative point would be the squished floor seats. Something that we should not have to tolerate for the price we have to pay for tickets.

  • Awesome Bonamassa!

by luvedjoe on 2011-04-03Ottawa Civic Centre - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

Mr. Bonamassa was absolutely amazing- he played for over 2 hours (maybe closer to two and a half) without a break, as if it was the easiest thing in the world. He is extremely proficient on the guitar(s), vocally amazing and had a super crackerjack band. I wish I had one hundredth of his talent and energy. BooHoo for you if you missed him! Can't wait to buy "Dust Bowl"

  • Joe Bonamassa was masterful!!
