This was an exceptional night at the NAC. Joel was amazing. The orch was amazing. The conductor was amazing. The musical guests were amazing. Keep your eyes on Mo Kenney.
With a stripped down performance, Joel's talent shines through. Both his humour and audience engagement made the show more dynamic. A real Canadian treasure.
This show was amazing. The Arden Theatre is a nice intimate venue with great sound! Joel Plaskett is always so much to see. I loved everything about this show from the guitar playing monkeys he had on stage to Fashionable People the kids version! My friend and I got to meet him after the show and he is a super nice guy! Will definitely see him again in the future.

Joel Plaskett never fails to put on a great show! High energy, great sound! The Arden Theater in St. Albert is a great venue for Joel.

Joel Plaskett Emergency was fair but really should have been assigned as the supporting act for Frank Turner. For the limited time he was on stage, Turner gave a great concert but you could sense he was his act was compromised. Frank Turner is a brilliant musician, song-writer and entertainer and clearly this concert did not allow him to adequately deliver to his audience his full potential. Please bring Turner back soon and allocate him the space he fully deserves.
Amazing. Joel has such great energy and really feeds off the crowd. I've never seen him rock so hard as he did that night.
Fantastic venue for both the opening act Frank Turner and the headliner Joel Plaskett Emergency. Queen Elizabeth Theatre was perfect for them. Especially glad to be introduced to Frank Turner. He was great. Joel was his usual excellent self. Saw both shows (Fri & Sat) and enjoyed the minor differences.

Great show, Fun venue. Joel Plaskett is a great entertainer that seems to ad-lib many parts in his show.
Both the opening act (Frank Turner) and Joel Plaskett played with energy and enthusiasm. The set list was varied with several new songs, but many of the old favorites as well. A real class act. Louis Pub is small enough that there is not a bad seat in the house.

Had a fantastic time!!!! Frank is an amazing talent and was super awesome of him o chill With the crowd afterwards!! Joel was also amazing and his passion for the music really came across in his performance!

Simply awesome. Have seen these guys twice, once at a free show in Banff, and they are truly entertaining.
This show had it all! Was more upbeat and rockin than I was expecting. The music was great, Joel Plaskett and the emergency were AWESOME, so much fun to watch, and everyone in the crowd was having great time! Only suggstion is to include a dance floor so people can rock out with the band without scaring the rest of the audience!
I have seen many concerts in my day and Joel Plaskett definitely puts on one of the best shows. His energy and freestyling on stage is unforgettable. His live shows are even better than the album, which is a tell of true musicianship. You don't know a great show until you see Joel and that is a fact!
